I didn't even think we were running most games in native 4k yet... most of the time I hear such and such game is running at 1440p or less
I'm sure someone will come along and buy all Ubisofts IP and shut down their studios. Ubisoft is valued at around 2 billion....Sony paid more for Bungie
I like these sort of games but the music definetly doesn't do it for me and I'm not feeling what I'm seeing either. So pass for me.
I believe they said the Playstation 5 version stutters as well
I'm pretty sure that has been the case since Bill Gates released dos
So it's the same team with a different name?
I don't think I'll go back and play the game again but I guess this can't be a bad thing...unless it's buggy
Consoles sell out as well...
I'm sure they can produce my vram module upgrades faster then a whole new console
I wonder why we don't just have plug in upgrades like the older consoles use to do. They seem to be just as popular and effective.
A 4GB vram increase would be just as effective as what's done here and you wouldn't need to sell your original PS5 and shell out another few hundred dollars. Either way the console will be bottlenecked by the CPU.
I think PCs and consoles are both great things and people should buy whatever they prefer. I've done and continue to game on both platforms.
All my consoles are in a open space so the heat can escape. My consoles do get cleaned.
Believe me it's not user error. The Playstation one stopped reading disc, I can't remember what happened to the playstation 2. The Xbox 360 got the three rings of death. The Xbox one X fan stopped turning on causing the console to over heat and crash. I installed a device that got that fan to activate upon power on and had a manual switch that set the speed. The device work great...
I've had the playstation fail, playstation 2 fail, xbox 360 fail and a xbox one x fail. All hardware issues. The Playstation 1 and 2 lasted less then 2 years. The Xbox 360 actually lasted a decent amount of time probably around 5 years. Xbox one x lasted about 3 years
No issue with the NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii U and Switch
I've had more consoles die then I have my gaming pcs. Actually in all my years in gaming I've never had hardware issue on my gaming PC's.
I'd expect consoles to fail in 3-5 years these days, non Nintendo consoles that is. I don't know if it's simply a thermal issue or quality issues. I feels like even Xbox controller quality is getting worse every generation.
I didn't realise the Xbox Series X 2TB was so over priced
So converted to AUD it's $1157 for disc version and $980 for digital. Pretty much as expected.
What do we think the price will be? $999 AUD digital console. $1149 AUD PS5 Pro Bundled with optional disc drive
I'm more excited to see what the price of this console will be. In Australia the standard Playstation 5 and series x is $799
Does it cost that much more to add basic multiplayer like deathmatch and capture the flag to single player games? I know they need to pay for servers but in the past this was always done on PC.
If Microsoft wants Gamepass to succeed they need to keep putting out Xbox's. Otherwise they only other place you will see Gamepass is on PC'S, TV'S and Amazon Prime Sticks
People on Xbox platform still buy games. We have the option of Gamepass but not everyone uses it 12 months of the year.
I think you would definetly get some people who are only interested in the COD campaign subscribe to gamepass for a month to finish COD and some other games whilst their there. But when you have games like EA FC25 or NBA2k people want to play that all year till the next version comes out so they will buy those games.
