@ChasterMies

I thought Microsoft paid third parties based on how many people play the particular game on Gamepass?

If they don't want you to use a keyboard and mouse why implement it into the game...

Usually the cut scenes look better then the gameplay but I think it's the other way around in this game.

So all you have to do is subtract the file size of the following titles from 300GB and you will have a good idea of Black Ops 6 file size

. Modern Warfare II 72GB
. Modern Warfare III 79GB
. Warzone 70Gb
Total = 221GB

So it could possibly be around 79GB

I think they are doing the right thing. Games that have historically released on other machines should continue to do so. If it's new ip then that can bue exclusive or not depending on what they want to do.

I don't think that is a realistic price that you converted. It was more likely around the $1000 mark. No one is going to release a console for $2056 AUS. I think even at $999 a lot of people only justified it because it had bluray for their movies.

Well they did... the original Series X has a 1TB ssd and the digital console has a 1TB ssd. Same specs same machine one has a disk drive the other doesn't.....

I'm not sure of the prices in Australia but I think 3DO would of been pretty close as well as the Intellivision console.

I remember playing the intellivision console, never owned one but knew someone who did, the controller was quite different to what we use these days. The games i remember playing were Donkey Kong and a sport game which I think was baseball. I also new someone who owned a 3DO but I can't remember if I ever played it.

In Australia

Xbox Series X 1TB is currently selling for $799
Xbox Series S 1TB $549
Xbox Series S 512GB $499

Playstation 5 Slim is $799
Playstation 5 Digital $679

Nintendo Switch OLED is $539
Nintendo Switch $469

You can usually get the consoles a little bit cheaper when on sale. I think this is the current recommended pricing.

I can't believe these consoles h...

I haven't played the second hellblade but i really enjoyed the first one which makes this news pretty sad and disappointing.

You can't compare Playstation and Xbox's 1st party developers games to judge performance. Unless the particular game runs on both consoles.

I don't think we have seen many games actually take advantage of the current console which I think is pretty sad considering they probably have already started working on games for the new systems.

I think Xbox series and PlayStation 5 came out in 2020. Life cycle of console is 5 to 7 years approximately. ...

@Einhander1972

The only reason the PS5 is able to outperform the Xbox Series X is because it's the lead platform. The only thing I remember that the playstation had that was theoretically faster was the ssd drive. To be honest I'm not sure if that is even being fully utilised so it's probably having little effect in performance between the two consoles.

It's releasing on both Xbox and Windows PC not just Xbox.

The handheld rumour is partially true but it is just a controller add on that the series s clicks in to. You just place the console between the two sticks and it comes with a extension cord that is 20 metres long allowing you to use it just about anywhere in the house!! You don't need to worry about a screen because they have a app that will allow you to connect your phone to your series s!! The controller has a adjustable stand that your mobile phone can easily be housed in!! The power o...

If you must know what game Microsoft is shadow dropping it is a remake of the original Hexen game which Activision aquired the rights to after purchasing Raven

This makes sense when you hear people complain of the number of quality games coming out this generation

381d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Games are still being made for the old PS4 and Xbox one. Cross gen still going with only 2 or 3 years till next generation arrives. PC's games have been dealing with scaling for many years so it shouldn't be difficult to do the same on consoles.

Toys For Bob ended up being made to help with COD games and they didn't want to do that anymore.

I don't know why Microsoft just didn't keep them part of the company and let them make what they wanted. Assuming Microsoft approved of the new title.

Concord looks like a f2p game. Why would you buy this game when can play the same thing but free and probably better...

If it's not going to be ftp they better be bringing something better then what's already out there.
