well if it's like liberty city stories was on the psp and ps2 with a whole new story and main character in the set in the same location and the first episode is free on the day of release with more content on the way then there is a huge selling point for the 360 version

the getaway game were very poor and devoid of good fun gameplay that gta has and a new franchise like 8 day's has to be really good to breakthrough to a level where it is accepted by the mainsteam just look at saint row or any of the other GTA clones on the PS2/xbox and to be honest I don't think L.A.noire will be anything like GTA.

GTA 4 is all in game and from what Ive seen from the trailer/tech demo is pretty dam impressive for a large sandbox game but for all i know the 2 day to vegas stuff could just be target renders like the killzone trailer until i see something like a tech demo or gameplay footage I'd wait until you start comparing them
if they hadn't used the shadowrun name infact it has some quite unique idea's that could have sold the game, anyway you see most reviewers are older than school kid's and can remember the shadowrun games and bastardizing the originals name in this way has probably draged all the reviewers scores down

at this stage in the development for a game this size there will allway's be a playable build in one form or another to test the engine and various other stuff like test A.I. look at mass effect they had a pre alpha build up and running at E3 last year or the lost planet demo on the market place.

and i'm not impresses by what i've seen of halo 3 I have shown quite a few friend's the halo 3 stuff and non of em were that impresses i showed them other stuff like bad company and the alan wake tech demo and there jaws hit the floor.

roboblitz uses a texture compression technic that fits 100meg of textures fit into 2meg they should be selling this technology to the big name dev's, even with half the 360's memory for textures you would fit over 12gig in.
And if you used half a DVD 9 you would have 250gig of textures
Rockstar know which version of the game is currently the best because it they are developing it, the majority of their money is tied up in this franchise so when then chose to show it off to say a multiformat games mag like game informer they showed the 360 version without showing the PS3 version
It's more likely to be ported to the 360 as it uses a similar engine to mass effect according to the interview in edge but I think that will stay on the PC as he also said that he wanted to give PC gamers something for supporting them.
