One of the things that tends to put me off on shooters is the severe lack of story telling throughout them. They're made too short to really immerse me. With modern consoles theres really no excuse for it anylonger. They could easily throw in some "radio communications" or "platoon exchanges of conversation" throughout the games without cutting to a CGI or story section. They're just doing some graphics bumping and making it a DL game. That would appeal way more to me than a full remake. If they do a full rework I would have to wait for the price to drop on it, as I would have a hard time bringing myself to pay $60 for a game I've already beaten. Playable on PSP would make it that much better too.
