Someone else with some sense. Forza 5 was definitely an unfinished product. It was a $60 beta for Forza 6. At least 6 looks like the real deal.
Can't wait!
How are people disagreeing with this?
It's not that I can agree or disagree with this article. It's that I find it hard to believe it's not true. Xbox and Xbox 360 had a lot of great years.
True, I'm excited for Halo, but most of the other games I'm really looking forward to are multiplatform.
And Ittle Dew.
If I were making this list, I'd add Unepic. Loved that game.
It's about time they got some games. I haven't picked up a game for the Xbone since...Sunset Overdrive?
The ones from that list that look the most interesting for me is the one by Keiji Inafune, Killer Instinct Season 3 (love fighting games), and Halo Wars 2. Gears 4 as well.
Ummm - no Final Fantasy that I can remember (aside from X) was just a single path. My favorite Final Fantasy, and one of my favorite all time games, is Final Fantasy VI. It had a huge world to explore. And for my money, Final Fantasy VII was pretty disappointing for me until you get to the overworld.
My first Final Fantasy was II on SNES, and that had a huge world to explore as well. So did FFXII (the one that felt like an MMO with its combat).
Saying all Fi...
This is what I remember about FFXIII. Running down a straight path, over and over again. Towns that sucked. No exploration. That 1 semi-open area in the game with the huge monsters. And then it ended.
Lightning was a cool character, but the game itself was awful. JRPGs aren't supposed to be such a linear experience. They are supposed to transport you to a world that you can explore and enjoy at your own pace.
@4Sh0w
I'll take any of the Mario games running at 1080p and 60fps over pretty much anything the Xbone has right now. The only game I really got into was Sunset Overdrive.
But honestly, why are you even bringing up the WiiU in this article? SMH
Forza 4.
I'm not going to drag this out, as I agree that Forza 5 had really solid gameplay. No arguments there. But it cut too many corners. It dropped cars off the roster. It dropped tracks.
And getting back on topic for this actual video, it's somewhat insulting to see them talk about Forza 6 as the game they were really working really hard on all along. When I buy a game, especially a AAA game, I expect it to have really great support and love. B...
There was some wrestling game on PS2 that I fell in love with. I don't remember - I think it had a story (I remember cutting someone's hair off like Brutus the Barber). And I think Fred Durst was a hidden character on the roster.
I kind of wish they never released Forza 5 (it was obviously rushed for the release of the Xbone), and just released this complete version of the game with this new version they are talking about. Now I have to buy it again to get the version they were really working (10 years) to complete.
I bet they restocked both but the PS4 version just sold out really quickly.
What the hell are "unused video games?"
New games?
If this Darth Vader PS4 isn't awesome, I guess I don't know what awesome is. I plan on buying it the minute I can find it for sale (in the Battlefront bundle).
Where's Uncharted, Metroid Prime, The Last of Us, Street Fighter, Zelda, Final Fantasy 6, Punch Out!, Space Harrier, Daytona USA, and Batman Arkham?
Destiny? I put 100s of hours into it, but it was more of a social thing (I got to play with my friends). Payday? Yikes. The video game IQ/vocabulary of this author is way too limited.
This game isn't made by the same people who are doing Might No 9. Mighty No 9 is being made by Comcept (Inafune's company).
If you have a Warner Brothers login (you will have it if you already got the earlier skin for free), just use it to log in and get your free skin.
Simple.
Sega introduced me to RPGs with Phantasy Star. If that were all they did, that would be enough. But then they made me love turn-based strategy (Shining Force), and racing games (Daytona).
They made me fall in love with fighters (Virtua Fighter), as well as flying on Dragons (Panzer 1, 2, and Saga).
And they had the best console for 2D fighters up to that point in time in the Saturn, which didn't sell as well as the Playstation, but crushed it in terms of...
Wow - Sony really had a strong showing at TGS. Can't wait for this, the new Yakuza coming to the PS3, and Gravity Rush 2. Good stuff!
