I'd know people want more enemies and power ups, but I'd also like the ability for people to upload Worlds (4 levels that are semi-related).
Neonridr - he's asking if people would wear it around town because the article actually talks about the utility of the item (ie, wearing it). You don't wear a cardboard cutout. I have no idea why you'd even ask such a question.
Nah - it was more than 3 times. Either way, it's not that good of a game. I wanted it to be better. There are too many issues. No split screen coop. Short story. Same boss over and over and over again. Ending sucked. Locke was a lame character. Microtransactions. No Forge (FINISH the game before you release it!). The list goes on. I don't "bash" it to bash it. I do it because I know it could be better, and we deserve better.
I didn't buy the newest Desti...
The lineage...I guess that explains the 9.5 score?
I picked it up last week and played through the campaign, it was okay, but nothing great. Got tired of fighting that same boss like 7 or 8 times.
By that logic, everyone who plays Street Fighter should go and become an actual third degree black belt.
And people who play racing or flying games should become pro drivers and pilots.
And those who play Resident Evil should create and infect people with the T-virus!
If I were the only one out there who didn't know - sure. I'd accept the blame. But when I got my game and couldn't find a disk, then realized there was just a code, I googled it.
A LOT of people were upset too (because they didn't know).
That tells me that Microsoft screwed up.
Also, I haven't seen anything on this aside from people being upset - so it being "widely known" is false. It may be known by you, but...
Seriously Lawson? You are siding with Microsoft on this? Talk about blind fanboy-ism.
I have pretty much every collector's edition of every game I've ever bought (if they have one), and I've never once not had a physical game disk. In the Amazon description (which I read, but the way), it never said anything about no disk included.
I wish things were that smooth for me. I bought the $250 version of the game. No one said it doesn't come with the disk. So I called MS and they said they would ship me a disk. But they have no idea when it will arrive.
So I'm stuck, buying their most expensive version of the game, but unable to play it (since they make you give them the download code so you can't redeem it).
MS screwed this up badly.
He's in a LOT of stuff. The Star Wars movie that he is in (Rogue One) doesn't come out for over a year, so who is realistically going to be like "oh, yeah! That guy!"?
I'd say his most iconic role is Firefly/Serenity, and if you want to address your point, why not mention those movies instead?
Why do articles keep referencing Star Wars, as if he's the main character in the series? It's not gonna get you more hits!
This is one of the best thought-out articles I've seen on N4G in a while. It's not trying to start a flame-war. It's just a good article on how to improve a great game. I wish there was more content like this here.
Yes!
Not everyone will love the game, but reviews should be as objective as possible. a 5/10 is hit bait.
Nope - I'm just a fan of video games in general. I love all of the consoles. I just think it's okay to poke fun at companies (doesn't matter who) when they say they have made 100s of upgrades to a controller, and then release another one later on.
And yes, I'm one of the people who ran out and bought 4 Xbox One controllers around launch time.
It's just a joke, XgamerLive. :p
Microsoft at launch: We made 100s of changes to the Xbox One controller. You'll NEVER need anything else!
Microsoft now: You need something else. For those who bought 4 controllers, buy another one, suckers! This time, it's $150! [counts money all the way to bank]
I have all the consoles, so I honestly don't care what comes out for which system. I just like gaming.
Having said that, it's kind of sad the straws that Xbone users grasp at to make themselves feel better.
All of the systems are good. The PS4 is just great. Deal with it and move on!
I picked up both since it's been a while since we played these games in my house. And I have to say, everyone here (my, my wife, and my 2 kids) all gravitated towards the new Guitar Hero. The fret layout takes some getting used to. Maybe about 3o minutes to an hour of playing. In the article, the Forbes guy suggests trying it out at Best Buy first - I don't think that's a good idea unless you can really play it for nearly an hour. Most people won't get the hang of it right awa...
100% disagree. The "plastic instruments" genre needed something new and different, and I felt like Guitar Hero offered that. Not just the fret layout, but the way you feel like you are playing a concert. Or the music videos that play rather than the generic crowds.
In Guitar Hero Live, there's never an instance of a male singer singing a female vocal, or vice versa, but this happens all of the time in Rock Band.
Rock Band 4 is basically just Ro...
The thing I feel that makes this game different from most other Metal Gear games is the lack of boss fights. Sure, there are boss fights, and the ones that are here are pretty good.
But Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4 felt like they had a lot more bosses, and each encounter was fun and creative. Heck, for my money, MGS3 felt like a string of boss encounters held together by a few areas.
I am kind of surprised that no reviews I've seen have mentioned this.
I agree with you both! It's hard to find good levels or get credit. I wish you could hide the gimmicky levels (the ones where you don't press anything and the level plays itself, or the levels that create a song as you run through it, but don't actually play anything).
What sucks is, the gimmicky levels are the ones with the highest star ratings...sigh.
