Paramount was paid off BIG, and they'll be hurting unless they jump back onto the BR bandwagon.
And uhh, I don't think anyone's afraid of Zombies.
BR is still winning everywhere and this will only get better as retailers and companies continue to drop HD-DVD.
But because it isn't all that matters, PS3 ensured victory from day one, so there's no argument.
First of all, 55% more doesn't imply twice the price. The figure you're looking for is closer to 100%.
Secondly, the PSP version has more levels. Twice as many to be precise.
Case closed.
Well, 360 ending up a distant 3rd is solidified for sure.
Ps3 may beat wii, but strictly, is Wii even in the same market? They don't compete for the same customers (non-gamers vs gamers), they don't share the same software, or have the same capabilities.
There's more money to be had in Nintendo's non-gaming market, but only the lowest of gamers would be cheering for Wii hardware sales, as we've seen it doesn't translate into quality 3rd party support.
To clarif...
Why would anyone want to own the satanspawn of HD games if pubs are arrogant enough to put it on Wii to prove a point.
"It can be done................. (poorly)"
Why is there a question mark?
There is no question to it. This is a huge waste of money on a bleeding Toshiba. They're not making money on players, they're giving them away, and now 3 million more reasons shareholders are angry pops up.
And all Wii games are Nintendo made + the controller bundle Wii Play.
This does NOT bode well for 3rd party support Nintendo fans are expecting. This is unprecedented, and it seems like if you want real games, Wii is NOT the way to go.
Million sellers galore.
I want variety, and quality, and exclusivity.
I can get that with PS3, but not Wii. Okami is a game I played on PS2 earlier, not worth a rebuy or 250 USD.
Certainly, seeing other hardcore gamers you can understand that we enjoy getting hardcore (and casual) games.
Not only will wii miss out this year, but it'll never even be in the competition for PS3 quality software or slightly lower. The hardware dictates sub-PS2 quality or slightly better.
And many other sane people. But I saw no one else using it.
But boy is this 'article' stupid.
And tell everyone you know HD-DVD is dead even if they haven't heard of the war!
Toshiba needs some serious bankruptcy to teach it a lesson.
PS2. The only console worth the title.
GTA, DMC, GT3, MGS2/3 (two best in the MG series), FFXII (best FF since 7), GoW, SotC, Okami, RE4 (shame gamecube), hundreds more.
PS3 will easily take down 360, and yes PS3 is getting Bioshock, Mass Effect 2/3 among many other "good" xbox "exclusives," but it needs to output at twice the rate if it wants a library like the legendary PS2.
SNES?
You're jokin', you're jokin'
I can't b...
American people?
No kidding.
And besides, it wouldn't even work on Wii - the controls would be impossible. If it went to Wii (it won't), it would actually be total sh!t, and a terrible waste of another franchise.
And lol, obviously no 360 version.
Spin-off for Wii? Yeah, but it'll probably be a port of a handheld spinoff.
And guess what year it is!
lol@ that run for their money thing.
Turn10 does a half-@ssed job on EVERYTHING!
Graphics, dreadfully subpar
Damage, wholly unrealistic
Car types, limited
Environments, poor
And this is meant to be a sim?
Thank god for Gran Turismo. (Which by the way outsells halo 2:1 and Forza 15:1 you dumb Xbots)
Needs more time to clear stock due to terrible HD-DVD software sales.
You know the one.
Enjoy paying for short missions? I hope so because that's what 360 is getting. Disc content is exactly the same.
Just like Eternal Sonata, katamari and other NamcoB 360 games.
On the other hand, tekken 6 is PS3 exclusive.
It's not a loss for Xbox really, but since it's lost so damn much in the past year, it's devastating overall. Basically a PC which everyone has and can upgrade cheap, and a PS3, is all you need to play Xbox 360 'exclusives' and PS3 true exclusives.
