That was my argument.. but then console graphics suck so I doubt it is a priority. They don't seem as money grubbing as Crytek, while they still managed to make an incredible second game and have money to spare on other projects.
If anything they seem to be modest.
Well.. there's also this one who was pretty convincing.
http://www.pcgameshardware....
indeed, which makes it hard to know which one to want to fund.
Carmageddon though is one of the perpetual underdog games that it too awesome to let the IP sleep. It won't likely pull a big publisher that won't do awful things to it and hopefully ends up a better game than the Twisted Metal reboot (in terms of Polish).
But even more than that is the games multi-player and leaderboards potential that I to this day don't understand why it isn't...
not a single kickstarter I've heard of has been worth supporting.
Until this one. hands are shaking.
Might spawn with other enemies?! :} me like that bit of news?
What other win conditions will be generated by 'failure' to achieve these ridiculous goals?
so should we all.. but by now even MS should have developed a blue laser disk for distributing software based on bluray (for PC and XB3).
The 'each city having a specialization' is disappointing.
Railroads! > SC
because each city can have several resources and industries. I'd only like to see SC try that and keep the cities running instead of taking for granted that a large city can sustain itself.
I wonder if I'm the only one that both doesn't understand why the game needs to be adapted to anime at all.. while wondering what the elements of anime could do to enrich the game itself (if redone as a JRPG).
Pretty much.
It isn't like they can scale up 2070 and call that a new game.. .. ..
mother of god. Talk about the most evil union possible.
meanwhile this IS something that should have happened ages ago because Apple needs a games platform that supports multiple (or all) platforms, which is Steam.
I'm still doubtful Apple can usurp what Valve has built on Windows and what they've started with consoles. Minus a proper console and affordable games platform besides that.. what does Apple really have to offer but another tentacle for S...
and now to begin construction of the beast of a machine to run, unless Crytek is staying in the kiddie pool of parity with the console version.. probably will have an iPad app too i Bet.

Also (having skipped 2), when do we get to take the fight to the aliens damnit? Should get to pull a StarShip Troopers on their asses.
Lunacy.
Well.. no MS lost billions. They had to make the most of Xbox 360 before dumping even more money into consoles.
Then they for whatever reason started dumping more billions into Kinect and not into games for Kinect... and Windows.. and Windows phone...
Sony is a similar is only slightly less tragic story.
Notice Nintendo is the only announced new console? They don't have billions to waste but are playing catchup when people start gettin...
unless you insure them.. yeah it is a similar thing.
You're licensed and insured to drive, you can't just lend you car to other people. Furthermore you're responsible for what they do.
For gaming I don't want to even consider each gamer having to pay for insurance but that could happen too (requirements to have a SEN, Origin or Gamertag). I don't think STEAM is going to do that but I hope they don't.
apples and oranges.
Open as in less BS from Microsoft about what they can do with their games, like host online servers, support keyboard and mouse, how much memory they can use on the marketplace etc.
Fighting used games has been on the developer agenda for years because they only make money the first time a game is sold. After that any lending or rentals.. they don't get paid. People don't seem to care that they should be paying for a right to pla...
Its nice for them to want things.
But as long as they have enough ram and processing power to make games that are marginally better than they were last generation, they should be fine.
It isn't like the industry will implode just because devs aren't going to get an adequate platform for another 8 years. As if they are planning to support higher framerates, better AI, particle effects better physics, etc. The more features they'd add the buggier ...
Lara > Drake
Bitch fought dinosaurs.
I'm sure the nights would be just as interesting.
Over what 10 games? didn't need an annoying hapless love interest because she loved what she was doing.
No.. you mean CAN we make our own metropolises and not stupid medium sized city with junk features to appeal to newbs.
Now, how fair is it exactly to compare a PC RPG franchise (thus bigger audience) to a dedicated console trilogy (that could have been Xbox exclusive) that actually managed to cram 3 AAA titles into the same console generation?
Hopefully BioWare does learn something, and hopefully that something is let the franchise and UE3 development die. To clean up the way they make 3D games before making another one. And about the only thing I hope they do in the short term is re-release ...
