Off topic.. but will there ever be another proper racing game where cars aren't the entire focus? Where you have a character that can get up out of the car, admire it and the road/scenery..?

Reminds me of the Unincorporated man series.

There's Avatars that act like virtual butlers.

If it was Milo and Friends it would have done as well as Kinectimals and Pinata.

Further properties/DLC could have included such things as yard sport (tag, capture the flag, catch, etc)

Because they'd still need a developer to make the game happen.

Amalur is only what it is because of worst case business practices.

what if they make it more like Dragon's Dogma?

@Plaga

Yes actually.

But the underlying thing there is that some games are buggy and bugs and glitches can spark off basic reptilian reactions (to a perceived) unfair hindrance to progress.

reactions can range from turning off the game because it isn't fun
Or seeing those things as an extra challenge which enhances the experience
Or you smack the nearest person to you and blame the game.

IDK.. but some videos games do exacerbate the fundamental short tempered easy to wrath psychopath that bubbles up when I have to deal with stupid people.. speeding drivers.. loud neighbours etc.

CNN probably should have said killing virtual things in a game could reduces or wears down the barrier we should have since childhood if raised in such a society where there are such laws, that inhibits lashing violently or acting out on violent thoughts.

Is it out of line to ask for continents on a globe for the next game?

if it is still buggy and shit.. then yes..

Bethesda should be paying these guys if it mattered for everyone to be playing the game as it is after the mods.

how would you even license the mod in the first place? they could pull a microsoft and sue them to stop reverse engineering their work.. lol

goes well with Alex Jones' rant about gaming not able to do love.

One part of that is you can't get close enough in most RPGs to see another characters face or feel them in any meaningful way. Once they look like people though, and animators step their game up so you can really pretend they are people, and if AI can allow them to chat/jabber without getting too annoying, the valley will fill in or narrow to a point where we can start to consider game characters are l...

I just find it funny that CD came out guns blazing that it isn't 'rape' while ignoring that otherwise it is simply murder.

the Jimquisition about the issue covers most the issues as to why you can't see rape applied to games, as you would in other media like movies, such as Irreversible and Disclosure outside of Sony first party titles, because you can't have a game glorifying the act of rape. The main character can't do it (no pun intended) and not b...

Would you say Saint's Row 3 is mature?

--

No, it is frankly offensive, but fun. THQ should realize the juvenile nature of the game (to stand apart from GTA's drama) cost them sales.

Can't help shake the virgin geeks at desks checking their content again Youtube for maturity and SMH in despair of mature gaming ever gaining real traction.

4732d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

No truer words spoken.

Nintendo's higher ups really need to get more cultural exposure before making big decisions about what 3rd party games to support AND to start making their own mature titles in-house for the over 30-40s that still for whatever reason support their gaming machines.

But then.. Japanese AO content isn't something that needs to leave Japan given all the bad press certain hentai games get and color the whole AO gaming landscape so b...

But only because the 'mature'content should be included not paraded in everyone's face or be optional without being laughable compared to books and movies that DO have explicit sex but aren't pornographic, just 'adults only'.

It isn't just about the ESRB.

How do you draw the line for games and keep them out of the hands of minors (because we can't blame parents anymore)? We'll never know until retailers (brick and mortar an...

ah well then, yes, the reviews are indeed mixed if you're asking people.

But the critical reviews are solid 10s

It is worth playing but for some people it doesn't meet their inflated expectations for how the series should have ended especially from a game play perspective. Many attribute this to BioWare speed up shipping the game right after the script was leaked without co-op and with half assed multi-player.

4733d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

of course not, but not all of us have all of the endings already set up.

I'm missing 1 or 2 but at least destruction and refusal should be easy to load up and watch.

BUT thankfully for Youtube and Gametrailers trolls don't really need to play the game again to unlock any hidden exra endings? doctor evil pinky thing.
