That brings confidence that Hellblade 2 possibly be teased or shown off in the near future. Here's hoping Gamescom.
"You’ll get in-depth updates from some of our previously announced Xbox Game Studios titles alongside some of our third-party partners"
State Of Decay 3, HBII, Perfect Dark Avowed, Everwild and Fable are Xbox Game Studios. I doubt all these games are being shown off.
Perfect Dark and Avowed have a slightly better chance of being shown off in some way seeing how they're further along in development. I'm depth look on some of their previo...
"I buy a 500 plus dlls console for a promise of a next gen game experience, I don't receive so any of that so far,"
With that logic then take back your PS5 and dont have any new console. Ragnarok, GT7 and Horizon will be on PS4 as well. Won't have true next gen experiences according to what you're saying. Does your logic still hold up? Or are you changing it now?
"the jump between last gen to a totally next gen title that Halo Infinite is supposed to be."
It's definitely not a totally next gen title it was teased for the first time in 2018 for the X1. It's still very much a X1 title. It can't be totally next gen if it's on last gen console.
Infinite will be mediocre based off of what exactly? Because it's on last gen console? That makes no sense. So far everyone loves the mp portion ...
If I remember there was heavy speculation that the main reason why MS bought out Bethesda, was To keep Amazon and Google from potentially snatching them up. Amazon is said to be struggling hard to get teams together to make a proper exclusive game. The next best thing would be to buy a highly rated studio to make games for them like a Bethesda or WB Games. Instead of building a long and expensive venture such as a studio.
@Dark they made 2.3 billion from software and memberships. Xbox in total has made 15.7 billion in revenue. Xbox gamepass played a large part in increasing sales and revenue.
You gotta do research man.
I think Nixxes responsibility will be to gap the translation between the PS4, 5 and PC. By coding the consoles API customizing it for the consoles and PC as well. So making a game for PS5 can easily be coded and translated to PC and even PS4 (if it's cross gen) seamlessly so that way all platform essential speak the same language (same code) for scalability. I think they'll also help with enhanced BC techniques and possibly even a smart delivery type of feature down the line.
@Captain your favorite platform is PS5. If there games do release day and date ( I high doubt will happen) that should never be reason to turn away from PS5. If that's the one console you play your games on then have it, no reason to feel torn to go to PC. Plus the SSD is unmatched on PS5 so the superior version will be console anyway for a good while.
6 months is plenty of time to let PS5 take most of the sales. Say if Rift Apart released in October or December. That w...
Sony isn't going to buy a whole porting studio just to have a "select few of games" ported over to PC. If that's the case they could continue to port the game's on PC themselves.
I personally think Sony's first party will hit PC 4 to 6 months after the PS5 release.
"So yeah, a small team of 12 made $5 million in sales over the weekend. Not bad eh? What's interesting about it, though, is this is in addition to the money paid by Microsoft to get The Ascent on Xbox Game Pass. This made the game more widely available to players, and hasn't decreased The Ascent sales by any appreciable amount, instead appearing to help power them through with increased exposure."
Gamepass Strikes again.
As if EA is any better though.
@derek "lineup so awful yet people are still buying the console"
I mean they are, it's not an argument. Selling better than the 360 in which ppl here swore that the X Series will sale worse than the X1 actually. Imagine once these games do release. Infinite and Horizon 5 this fall. Cross fire X, Stalker 2 that spring, War hammer Dark Tide, Redfall in the summer then Starfield. The games start this fall going on full momentum in 2022.
Still selling great with no exclusives. Even sold more than the PS last month(in the U.S). As far as games goes MS has teams and hiring some of the best game devs around so they could be even, or comparable quality wise through out the gen.
It is X1 code after all. This game was announced awhile back on the X1 originally.
Due to high volume of people cramming in all at once. They better get it together well before launch of the game.
Lol wut...
Yeah with no Studio acquisition in sight to make it happen after they made that statement last gen.
They're getting it started later this year and carrying that moment into 2022.
Battletoads and killer Instinct were outsourced by MS. Blinx in the grand scheme of things isn't a popular game. A cult following at the most at the bottom of the basket when compared to MS Ip's. It also doesn't help that MS squashed the IP 6 years ago. Unless they planning on reviving the IP??? I dunno. You have a better chance at seeing Kameo or Viva Pinata get revived then Blinx.
I've owned and played blinx had allot of fun with it back in 2003 October to...
Fable, perfect Dark, Battletoads Killer Instinct needed developers. MS 4 short years ago only had 5 studios. Now they have 22 or 23 studios games like Fable, perfect Dark etc are being revived. MS hasn't forgotten about these games they just had no teams to make them before.
"In other words the Xbox one X could play all next gen games...but Microsoft decided to say no just because."
Redfall, Fable, perfect Dark, Avowed etc are only on Series X|S. HB1 is a last gen game obviously. In what world do you think the 1X can play next gen games?
