So far the game is very polarizing right now. That's that general feeling right now. The campaign was a no show because 343i is on "shut down mode." which is bug squashing and making sure the campaign is looking at its absolute best. Describing it as "sticking the landing" and won't show anything until its perfect. Joseph Staten seems to be a perfectionist.
Think about it, if they showed the campaign while its not 100% ready they could easily pu...
It doesn't help that scalpers stopped in like vultures.

Bethesda is updating/upgrading the engine finally. I don't think we'll have the same glitches and bugs found in older titles.
Apparently it's still on track for this year. Man MS will have a pretty stacked holiday it looks like.
More, I need mooore.
Chaos Bane and Zone Of The Enders for me. Personally, not a bad month.
Agreed it is awesome. I don't wanna hear complaints of too many games with all these delays in the past year. All these AAA games being MIA with no releases dates.
Gamescom was way better than what E3 had to offer that's for damn sure.
That damn thing sold out in seconds....
Sooooo glad it's its a reboot it's been too damn long. They needed a fresh start from the series for a long time.
"they've never really shown the value of their consoles in people's homes."
Really? Multiplayer gaming and Xbox live brought tremendous value for the home console space at the time. If it wasn't for MS flag shipping online gaming we would not be where we're at now. What they're doing now is an evolution of what MS made popular back during the OG Xbox days of online gaming.
There's no "defending" its what MS is ...
"Also have to ask why is Series X/S even needed? Especially when - they - have no games of their own."
Because MS still believes in console and always will. The console is the main selling point everything else is extra. It's literally an ecosystem. Something they've been shouting from the rooftops for 5 years now.
Right, I agree what I'm saying is Playing new gen games on old console and how much resources it's taking on MS end is too good to be true all At 1080p 60. Most importantly that's not cheap at all, Streaming all that data and bandwidth with a huge game like Starfield on a 2013 Xbox is amazing. I'm saying GPU price could go up because of the back end of what MS is doing, what they're providing for its gamers. That's not cheap that's allot of memory and bandwidth bei...
Basically you'll be able to stream your games on console. No downloading or waiting.
And you get to stream current gen games on old systems, Fable, Avowed, Perfect Dark etc will be streamable on the old 2013 console.
This works for all the current and last gen Xbox consoles.
I think he's on to something tbh. The bandwidth and data streaming will be tremendous to stream on old consoles. I'm Not saying MS can't do it, I'm just saying they probably gonna raise the price of GPU. All that data and back end work being beamed to the console at no extra charge?
They'll probably test with smaller games first then go on the the bigger games.
But think about it. Streaming Starfield and E6 or Avowed at a very generous...
No downloading you'll be able to save space in your hard drive which is very good hear to hear.
Essentially what this means is you'll be be able to play something like Starfield on X1. Next gen titles will be in 1080p 60 with xcloud stream. Which is more than good enough for quality.
I already know what certain ppl will say. "I REALLY don't know need to buy a Series Console to play the games now"
1. ) I don't ...
Your talkin about a game that's also on X1. I dunno why everyone continues to overlook that.
"They still can't put out a new quality IP, let alone release a good exclusive."
Still can't? What does that even.... Huh??
There studios are still developing the titles. What you said made absolutely no sense dude.
It launched barebones and quickly rectified the issue and had 4.8 million active players this past summer and topping steam charts. The Battlefront games launched and quickly failed nobody talks about those games. Anthem launched barebones and never recovered and died.
"lowered expectations for their fans. What exactly does that even mean?
That's just it we don't know how the campaign is. By streamlining the workload and focus on what matters there's a high chance the campaign could be great.
I guess you forgot or didn't know that key devs were leaving the project for a few years. Also they had incompetent leadership running the show as well. Internal struggles tend to happen when you're a large studio.
That CG trailer was introducing the first season on multiplayer. That had nothing to do with the campaign.
