They had to put Kaz on GT6 to get him to leave GT5 alone long enough for it to be released. Can't wait.
Can't tell you guys how much credibility your site loses over a simple typo like this.
Yeah, I hate to throw the Fox News line around because I usually reserve that for the most egregious fanboy sites (e.g. the Bitbag), but this was incredibly biased. On the move episode they basically brought in one person to do all the Move bashing while everyone else got to play naive. Software faults were equated to hardware faults and after ten minutes you'd swear G4 just told you the Move was trash. Oh yeah, in that episode the hired gun even stated "PS3 owners don't know how...
Even if it does "play best" is it a difference I would notice if I don't have the PS3 version and the 360 version running side by side?
I'm guessing the answer is no.
Times like this I really wish I had a gaming PC (insert the obligatory "I thought all PS3 gamers owned gaming rigs" comment).
I was really looking forward to this game but it appears that it's incredibly buggy and I just don't think that's acceptable. Between the speedy patches and the mods, the PC game looks great.
Can't wait for the embargo to pass and the reviews to come in. Have a feeling they're going to be very controversial.
Yeah, they really made you jump through hoops to get the beta. Not only did you have to be a Plus member but you had to be one of the first 5k to download a theme. I'd really like to know when the 5000th download occurred after the PSN store update.
I could do without the giant helghast helmet. Everything else in there seems really cool.
I buy used games and it's nowhere near piracy. With piracy there might be one legit sale that leads to 100s or 1000s of illegal downloads/copies. More times than not a used copy goes back to someone that bought the game legally.
Sux for the devs because of all the second hand sales but until the publishers start charging less for games, or realizing that only a few games should drop at the 59.99 price, then most people will buy a game used off Amazon or Ebay (if ur smart ...
MS playing it smart as always when it comes to advertising. I guess they're not really pushing this on the channels I watch because they're marketing to the demographic most likely to be interested in Kinect.
Good point...but it'll be better than it is now. Fallout 3 still has bugs galore. Last game I played had cars falling out the sky.
It's not acceptable. What's worse is that many reviewers give games high scores despite being littered with bugs.
But whatever. I'll get Fallout New Vegas when the GOTY version comes out. By then they should have patched all the bugs away and I'll get the dlc also.
I'm just too self-conscious to get into this stuff. But Kinect will probably prolong the lifespan of the 360 by a few years.
I'm intrigued, but I'm going to hold off until the price drops a bit. It seems like some games (Sports Champions) are best experienced with a 2nd move controller and, while the nav control is not necessary for most games, I still want one. So once I can get all that for a reasonable price, I think I'll make the plunge.
Why do so many of you care what I do with my money? First off, the KZ3 beta was a major reason why I got Plus but it wasn't the only reason. I've been wanting to check out Plus for the longest and I now had a good reason.
Second, I hope you're not a 360 fanboy trying to poke fun at the idea of paying for a beta. MS charges a mandatory fee just to play the online portion of a game. Now which of the two is worse: an option fee to play a beta or a mandatory fee just ...
If I don't get it then there must have been 5000 people in the U.S. that downloaded this thing as soon as it popped up on the PSN store. Does anyone know how long the beta's set to run?
It depends on how you define success. MS says they're going to advertise this thing but I haven't seen one commercial for it yet.
And the whole review embargo thing doesn't bode well. I saw that raft game at ComicCon and it still had lag.
The lighting suggestion was a little disconcerting. Even lighting thourghout? What if you live in a dorm and only have a reading lamp and a ceiling light? Would it not work with just the reading lamp on?
That too. I hear people mention shows that are on there that I didn't even know were there just because there's so much crap on there.
I don't even think a Wii HD would stop the fading/decline so to speak. Let's me preface this with the following: The Wii is still the best selling of the three systems. But the decline won't be solved by a new Wii because a good portion of the Wiis install base aren't interested in getting a new Wii. Remember, these are the same people that aren't even interested in getting new games. I'm not talking about the "hardcore" gamer that plays Wii games for 15+ hou...
