It's still coming out this Holiday season. So relax guys. This is probably more of a marketing decision at this point.
I know this isn't the most profound position to take, but I play FPS games mainly for a good MP. If that's bad then there's little chance I'll buy the game for full price. But I tip my hat to you sir for picking the game up for the sp.
looks like anyone planning on getting this should at least rent it first. The IGN review made the game sound buggy as heck. Surprised about that more than anything because the game had 3 years and a beta. You'd think those things would have been fixed.
Was at comic con and the game is effing gorgeous. Did not want to buy it day one but now I have to. Dante is crazy fun to play and his moves are intuitive. I'm not a MVC guy so I didn't know how to switch out (thought it was both light move buttons at once but I guess not). Anyway, I played it at the IGN booth about 3 times and it looked awesome and is fun as heck.
On another note, I watched someone play Kinect (Poison was blaring while I played MVC) and I had to see ...
LA Noir, Agent, GT5 and whatever this project is. RDR confirmed it. R* gets my money prior to reading one review.
remember that Spiderman arcade game? When I saw Venom in that game I was hooked. All these titles must be held back by contractual issues because these re-releases just seem like free money.
Can any of us really complain about crashes and bugs in a beta? I mean...that's what a beta is for...no?
How can you trust an article that contains an obvious typo almost right at the beginning of the article? "Reiderate?" What the heck is that?
Who cares if it could? Why speculate when it'll never happen anyway? Unless Sucker Punch has worked on the 360 hardware and is willing to give an unbiased opinion on the matter, the rest of us don't possess the knowledge to make an intelligent statement on the matter.
Yeah, I read the 360 version of this article when I was contemplating getting a 360 just to get a list of older games I could get at a bargain.
This article is about as objective as Kotaku gets. Unfortunately, when you juxtapose this with the Move launch article, the GT5 slowdown articles, etc, it probably leads to most people thinking this isn't the most credible site for this sort of stuff.
So you're in favor of this? Just out of curiousity, how did you feel about Home when it was announced? How do you feel about Home now? Lets see if you actually attempt to stay consistent or if you just admit to hating Home yet being excited for this.
Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Last Guardian and GT5. PS3 is dropping some "HOT FIRE" *dylan voice* over the next few months.
Resistance is one of my favorite IPs. I didn't even mind the game drought on the PS3 during 07 because I played Resistance online all the friggin time. Resistance 2 was a good game, but I think a lot of people are a little unfair on it because R1 was really special.
Can't wait for R3. Those screens look gorgeous. Not every game has to out do Killzone in graphics, guys. The graphics in the above screens with Insomniac gameplay should get all of you excited.
All go cloud? What about the people that don't have access to broadband internet? Are they just left out? No. Until we have fast and affordable internet in all the major video game markets, there will always be a console.
Ummmm....wat?
Move didn't sell? Based on what? Based on one Kotaku article that showed one gamestop with no one lined up for the midnight launch? Go on Amazon.com and go to best sellers for videogames. Right now the Move bundle is #3. Right below Reach and Cid V. Can we perma ban Omega already?
I can definitely see someone's gripe in having to pay a mandatory fee just to enjoy the online portion of their games. I can also see the argument against Live fees to use things like Netflix which is free for PS3 and Wii owners to use.
Having been a 360 owner for about two weeks now, I gotta say some of the cooler features of Live are the whole party chat system and the ability to go into a private chat. I got my Live card for about 20 bucks after an Amazon.com videogam...
bubbles for injecting a little truth in the discussion.
Glad they get it. Let us decide what features are too Japan-centric. Didn't they realize that if someone was interested in this game to begin with that person was probably interested in all the game's features?
FINALLY! I know it's super lazy but having to take the disc out or find it was getting old. And the fact that you don't have to be a plus member is all the better.
