What is Jez's credibility out of interest? I know he works for Windows Central but don't know much about his history with leaks etc. Some say he has credibility and some say he is a fanboy who has been on podcasts with the likes of CrapGamer.
This doesn't say anything we don't already know... The PS4 Pro for example also does some games in native 4k, so obviously the Scorpio will do some in native 4K too (likely to be more).
The real question is whether ALL of the games will be 4K native like the machine has been touted by many (not all) fans.
Would it not be a bit of a slap in the face to Scorpio fans if the machine had to do some form of checker-boarding to reach its goal of 4K for s...

Yeaa I do understand to some extent - Journalism in gaming has been a mess for years with either kids blogging all types of meaningless nonsense. But it is nowhere near as harmful and agenda driven, possibly money hatted publications.. IGN for example is so pro MS now they don't even try and hide it.

I don't need to read this article to 'see the light'.. you only have to look at sales to know that it isn't a gimmick.. It's outsold the Rift and Vive COMBINED in a matter of 2 months..

There are quite a few games that run natively 4k on the PS4 Pro. What you are implying is like saying the XBone isn't a 1080p machine.
All companies can be guilty of being somewhat shady in some aspects, but no one can compete with MS. Their tricks, shadyness and amount of out right lies are second to none - beggars belief that the western world (only place XBox is popular) still trust them.
It was by far the most ridiculous piece of journalism this year.. It's less about the score than the outrageous claims and babbling within the review - and in fact, does make the score just as ridiculous come to think of it as there was no justification AT ALL in the review. Uncharted 4 would have been 94 otherwise.
Alternate paths? Didn't know that.. Sounds awesome. They should take their time, there is no set release date so the other articles saying they have been delayed are nonsense - 2017 is stacked anyway.
Indeed man.. I have a Denon AVR-4200W with Q Acoustics 7000i speakers.. I have been itching for more Dolby Atmos content to be introduced. Still in its infancy for home use.
Will the developers for games utilise the Atmos features, or will it only support 5.1 still? If so, that is pretty awesome.
P.S. I can see they have it mind, but wondering if the audio had been mixed to possibly support this feature in the future (now).
