Ignorance is bliss.
The US media is cancer to gaming to be honest... IGN and Polygon are some of the worst perpetrators. One is actually funded by MS and the other shamefully bias.
No, did I say anything about which is the best? what I said is it just means Sony are dominating the market share - don't get too defensive there my friend, woah woah! I applaud their ability to mainstream it while many on this site *COUGH* were doubting them.
I have tried the Vive and the Oculus, and they are indeed superior in image and tracking - I think Sony's game development for VR might be unrivalled in the the nearish future though.
A...
But which company dominates all in all in market share, and has been out the least amount of time? - Go on.. you can say it, it's ok.
You don't seem to get it and are sounding repeatedly rather entitled.. This is a remaster of classic games, you will see a completely new Crash from the ground up if support is given for this by consumers.
I also happen to think it looks good, the B-roll footage is much better.
Highest critically rated exclusives & ACTUAL exclusives, most games in general released, highest sales, most amount of first party studios, most amount of third party content, most amount of hardware peripherals and revisions.. I could go on.
You didn't think this one through did you, buddy?
Well said! Consistency is the name of the game.
Because your delusion is through the roof. The bitterness from fans like you is also sky high so you are a lot more vocal. 3/5 games that you were given this month have already been given to PS fans - what is your reasoning now?
It has the sales of the Rift and the Vive COMBINED.. The question is: would 750k sold of units in its opening month be seen as a failure or an achievement if we hadn't have gotten such a ridiculous estimation from SuperData in the first place? I'd say an achievement personally..
The fact it has been sold out EVERYWHERE in my corner of the globe (and many others from what I hear) only solidifies the argument.
Was the original 2.6 million forecast from people who could not factor in stock issues? I'm not sure if I've heard Sony speaking of this proposed 2.6 million? - if they did, I stand corrected. The item has been sold out in many regions around the globe - being an issue with regards to supply is a likely factor.
P.S. I wrote this when it had its 1st ridiculous headline.. The fact that the headline has gone from something as hyperbolic as what it was, to what it is...
Septic should know (considering he is English), that in the UK at least, PSVR has been sold out everywhere for quite some time.. I would be interested to know in which other countries this is also the case.
I'm not sure that it is in any Xbox fans best interest to start discussing sales with concerns to a Playstation product - lol.
Was the original 2.6 million forecast from people who could not factor in stock issues? I'm not sure if I've hear...
Are you talking to me? If so, I know that they have multiple teams... Last of Us 2 has undoubtedly been in production for some time. My point is with regards to maximising profits by focusing on marketing one product at a time.
If you're not addressing my comment then I agree.
@mikelemonade
I'm not sure what you're getting at.. Uncharted 4 was instant game of the year when it was announced too.
Fingers crossed, brother.
E3 2017. Naughty Dog will focus on single player DLC for Uncharted 4 at PSX.
I guess we will see over time, but at this point it seems that HTC, Oculus (arguably somewhat different markets - PC), and Microsoft (although not VR at this point, still PS competition), just can't compete with Sony on a global scale. Too many resources with regards to software AND hardware mean it is an uphill struggle for them all.
Not my type of game.. But many PSVR titles have done very well. Rez Infinite and Thumper to be specific.
@ Pockyking
Yes, this is indeed the case too! I would definitely heap Forbes into the same list as IGN and Polygon though.
Add it to the list.. IGN, Polygon, Twinfinite, Forbes, Gamingbolt, ThisGenGaming. All either fanboy publications, or on MS pay roll (Polygon is fact). It doesn't surprise me that these are ALL American - the worst media on earth.
P.S. Septic's site is too much of a joke to even include on this list.
I'm unsure of this too.. Although I would love for this to be the case! Have you got any source to confirm that?
