I really did not like how this one looked. Yeah Valkyrie was rough too but this seems like it needed some serious polish in the animations for a diorama based SRPG. Still I'll give it a fair shot and see how it turns out
very excited about this game. Should be a great option for people looking for a more balanced souls like game while maintaining typical Square features like emphasis on story and a big musical presence.
It was made by Tecmo specifically the NiOh team. I really enjoyed the demos and on PS5 the visuals have improved a lot. the last gen consoles are really CPU limited, but there are games that look 10x better. Still not everything has to look like a AAA game. Games can be fun without cutting edge graphics, personally I find games like this, smaller indie titles like Hades and Infernax to be a lot more fun then something like say the Last of Us 2
Who put this trailer together Tyler Perry with music by BET? I mean yikes this latest trailer is so hood cringe with the hip-hop like back track it borderlines on being an insulting parody. This games presentation screams zoomer woke politics, maybe the story will be good but good lord the pandering is extreme to a level where even the "exaggerated swagger of a black teen" would blush from embarrassment
Hes a great dev and had made many truly amazing games but I feel hes become a bit too arrogant and all his communist praising bull and absolutely disgusting hollywood pandering friends have become cringe. He needs to just make games and shove the rest.

I disagree, the game runs like crap on all platforms. Elden Ring is not a bad game but no masterpiece should launch on platforms that barely hold 45fps its its best instances. Hell XSX drops to 29fps in come cases in its framerate mode. That's terrible, FromSoftware makes great games but they need to nail down the performance issues in their releases
Its really not though. Elden Ring is a great game marred by horrible performance on all platforms, thus making it a good to decent game. Poorly coded game engines are just as much a reason to knock points off a score or tell people to be mindful of as bad game design.
I like the look of the monsters but the trainers look horribly generic and lack any noticeable style, even compared to the other pokemon games on the Switch. Also the boy characters design is vomit inducing, they might as well both be girls

LOL no. I played this on game pass and thats what you should do for this game, pass on it. bad performance on a Series X for a game that looks like a 8 year old low end PC title? Horrible writing and a dick joke in the first 30 min should give you a clue how low quality this is. Plenty of other WTF moments too. The main characters mother is one, the introducing characters just to kill them off 20 min later and the story acts as if your supposed to care? LOL
This is absolutely getting a physical release in US/EU so no worries there. Now I highly doubt we will get that awesome Japanese limited edition. We will probably get some kind of limited edition but I doubt it will be on the level of the one Japan is getting

I chalk most of that up to the PS5's dev kits being very similar in scope to the PS4's. From my understanding the dev environment is identical just with higher specs, but the Series consoles have entirely new system/tools which may be taking devs longer to get the hang of. the XSX is more powerful but not so much that it will be able to match PS5 on frame rate while pushing a high resolution so there's that too

great games, glad I own both. Hopefully Sony can still see value in small nice games like this. There is an audience for smaller games marketed properly. Its not like taking a 10K away from God of War or Spider-Man's marketing budgets would hurt their sales any. they should be using the big profits to foster smaller more creative internal efforts. They may not all be massive hits but not having them makes the line up weaker.
blame Disney. Square can't do anything with KH without their OK, which is really stupid to me as its not the disney characters that make the games what they are. I guess it was easier and cheaper to surrender the rights to the games then pay continuing royalties to Disney.
