I wouldn't use weekly sales to measure marketshare if I were you. I'm not taking a swipe at you but I'm saying that weekly sales are quite variable. I'd say that if you looked over the course of time at monthly sales you'll see a clearer picture. Even taking a look at how many BR and HDDVD would probably be a more accurate picture.
Looking for marketshare analysis by looking at weekly numbers is about as accurate as looking at daily numbers.

reviews aren't worth much anymore. You have to go by how you feel. I liked Lair and still do. I'm in the minority but I am a minority so I'm used to that. LOL
Reviewers just want there site to get more hits so they can get more advertising dollars. It's really a disservice for us gamers but we have to be smart and test a game for ourselves. It's the only way.
You're paying premium for a bluray player and video game machine. It's not $600 and hasn't been for a while. It's the most bang for the buck now so every good game and bluray movie that is released justifies the price, to me.

how does it not even get brought up for Graphics Game of the year? Regardless of whether reviewers liked the genre or the style everyone remarked that it is one of the mor beautiful games out yet no love.

Not that Cnet is the Bible but they do a very good job in reviewing electronics I believe. The XBR4 is "the best LCD" they've tested so far.

Samsung is not though of as high end as Sony, in price or features.
I like Samsung because they do have a highend offering and it is comparable to Sony's. (That's the good and bad thing about Sony)

Samsung makes a very good LCD. I have a 60XBR2 from Sony that I'm most pleased with.
a lot of bluray companies haven't released a lot of their stock. Look at how few Fox and Disney movies have been released.
They may be waiting to see how this thing plays out or they may be waiting for interactive features. I don't know because I don't work there. (Obviously)
For me though, most of the titles I want are on bluray or exclusive to bluray.

but nearly every release that is dual format sells better on Bluray. That's a huge indicator for studios and retailers who are looking to make profits.
They left just enough mystery about what twists and turns the story will take to keep you interested.
This will definitely be getting a lot of spin in my 360.

I understand the disappointment. I understand that the lack of it is constantly brought up by 360 fans or whoever wants to take a swipe at the PS3 but it's a small disappointment in comparison to a lot of good things about the PS3.
What system had this many hot games it's first year? What system has as much functionality and customization as the PS3? I can't think of one aside from an actual PC.

Sure it should have been on since launch, it's not. They may be trying to get it to work better with Home. They may want to make sure it works flawlessly with all the games previously released. They may have it completed and just want to watch guys on the internet cry like...

Real gamers like games. I think that Uncharted got a raw deal and Mass Effect is getting a free pass in the reviews like Charlie Weis but I don't think it's a bad game and when I was young we weren't as critcal about games as we are now.
