Both Paramount and Universal have not announced anything yet, which means they will likely join Blu-ray for sure.

@DJ. your right Blu-ray has "open doors" welcoming all to join!

Something is holding back the two studios! HMMM I wonder what? *$

Blu-ray is the winner, especially when there is a lot of talk behind one anothers backs at Paramount.

Their not sure what their doing, we're going BR, no we're not, yes we are, no we're not.

Thats signs of trouble for HD-DVD and if Toshiba can't see that, then they're "high" on something all the time.

If the WORLD and studios favors Blu-ray then just dump the dual format players and make Blu-ray only players.

But a contract thing would be in there right?

On CNN they were saying that she used up all of her moves.

Obama gives crazy nice speeches though. Hilar just wants the "Clinton" name to be in the foreground again!

back on topic.

If news keeps popping up and if people at Paramount are STILL talking Blu-ray then they should just get it over with!

There are workers at Paramount that basically
"talk behind other peoples backs" but in this case its Paramounts...

Here are some cut and pastes!

Electronista:

-HD DVD versions of movies will continued to be produced until May 2008, when Warner switches to producing "only" Blu-ray titles as well as lower-resolution DVD discs. ^^^^

News Daily update:

Warner Bros. had been releasing movies in both formats. It will "drop"<<< Toshiba's HD DVD format at the end of May, the studio said today in an e-mailed statem...

70 to 80 percent?? didn't Warner say that they will be putting movies on HD-DVD UNTIL MAY??

That means AFTER MAY, all warner movies will be on Blu-ray only!

So what you are saying is that the PS3 will never surpass 360 in week to week sales? Never?!? WOW!

Please!

6104d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Warner bros started the "BIG SWITCH".

Paramount must feel ***ked up right now!

Toshiba, HD-DVD must feel like something?!?! lol!

6104d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

BR is the winning format, PS3 is slowly catching up, and getting ahead of 360 each week or so.

Now its PS3's turn! oh yeah!

6104d ago 5 agree2 disagreeView comment

MS would be "cheap" and release the new xbox console.

But Sony could also release the next Playstation on the exact same day, so they both will get an even start.

PS3 will live longer than 360 because the PS2 is still selling like mad, and a lot of people don't have money to spend like that.

the PS3 would be like the PS2, in which it will keep selling, but thats if Sony doesn't make the next Playstation and discontinue the PS3.

Read:

"At the moment we're forced to stock both formats because while, at the moment, 9 out of 10 people are buying Blu-ray, there's still one in 10 buying HD DVD," Morgan said.

1 out of 10 is a good thing right?!?!? dudes on drugs.

"While there's still [HD DVD] content available and while there are HD DVD players available at competitive price points, it's not dead; it's just getting close."

^^This second one.......

"I want consumers to have a voice in this.........AND I THINK there are a lot of consumers who bought HD-DVD who are going to have a say in how this shakes out."

Basically, he thinks the Consumers had no voice when everyone clearly said they want Blu-ray.

And the HD consumer market, 85 or so percent have Blu-ray!

Professionally spoken!

[Toshiba and the HD DVD Promotional Group] have reason to be upset

You all see here^ Toshiba, MS and HD-DVD don't like losing, so do they dig up as much "stuff" as they can find and start "Slamming" BRD and Warner Bros.

At least Warner is being sincere by releasing their movies on HD-DVD, until May.

The timing on this news is SO PERFECT! HD-DVD and Toshiba are almost gone and this news pops ...

Phillips AND Sony<

and NOW with BRD, does Phillips say anything about BR and does Panasonic say antything about BR, NO.

So here comes SONY representing Blu-ray!

just like MS representing HD-DVD along side Toshiba.

6105d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

How can they that!

Hollywood isn't listening? WTF is that?

this is proof that MS wants to take over everything on this planet!

Hollywood IS listening, they hear that BR is the format consumers want and Major Hollywood studios want(Warner Bros and Newline).

This guy Penello, has it twisted!
