This is just stupid, bluray players are about 250$ (some of em) and hd dvd players are 200$, so it really ought to be 450$...hell, more like $400...

This format war is so stupid...I really don't care which wins, I just want it to end so I know which format I need to prepare to provide footage for clients on...both are great, bluray's 40% storage space is an advantage...hddvd combo discs are great so ppl can buy and watch hddvds with regular players until theyre ready for hidef, then they dont gotta repurchase the same movies..arg!! Freakin crap war!!
Cus it already has been, fair price, great system, great games-not a ton yet, but definitely enuf already to make it worth the money, and tons more spectacular titles on the way! Happy gaming, all!!

ALL systems crash at least once in a while, whether by an update or some stupid error, so attacking the other consoles saying crap like "Oh, though your system had no flaws" or "oh, look out for RROD" is pretty lame. Whetehr it's just one guys ps3 crashing cus of the hdd or a bunch of ps3 due to an update, the problem will be fixed probably within a week, knowing sony's speediness, so I wouldn't worry too much. Cus so far every store-bought dvd I've played on my 360 looks great while played on it. In fact, the 360 still does a much better job on the hdtv than the $300 dvd player we got with upscaling and all (which is now in for repairs so we had to move the 360 in to substitute). If they're sating it's bad at playing actual hollywood movies store-bought, that just pure BS. But if they're talking bout divx, ya, it didnt work last time I tried, but then again, I don't use divx much, trying to author ...
