I can tell you that for me, I have tried so many games that I would have never tried if it weren't for them being on gamepass. I have found some real gems in genres that I normally just passed by, but with the cloud allowing me to jump in quick, then downloading it if I liked it, I have at least 30 games that I would never have tried. For a consumer like me I am extremely happy with gamepass. There is a good chance I will purchase some games now in those genres.
Looking forward to playing Far Cry 5, I have not played that one yet. I have to say I really enjoy GamePass, a wide variety of games especially with the EA Play stuff. I find myself trying all sorts of games I never have played before. I enjoy the cloud aspect so I don't have to download it then figure out I don't like it and delete it. Worth every penny in my opinion.
Just look at all the articles the last few years talking about XBOX exclusives being available on pc and you would think every person in those articles has a top of the line gaming rig as they all say, meh I'll get it on pc.
Queue the onslaught of "why do they even bother" comments. While i don't totally disagree that Gold games have been awful, every once in a while one pops on their that I try and end up liking. I mean if you have to pay, why complain about games they give you.
That is a feature I never thought about needing but now, I feel like its one of the best inventions this generation.
I love my series X, been a fan of Xbox since I was in a focus group at a mall and they showed us all these different designs of a new video game machine and logos with an X, and then a year later I see Bill Gates debut the original xbox. I know there is a lot of naysayers out there about subscription service like this, but I have to say I enjoy it and have tried so many games I would have never given the time of day. Especially with the cloud gaming, that way I don't have to install to see if I really like a game. Well worth the money in my opinion.
Where did all the articles go for this? IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku the article about it being cancelled are off their main pages. Even this one I had to search for on N4G, is this legit or not?
I love the campaign, not complaints for me. I think it is much better than 4 or 5. I don't get into the multiplayer much so I can't comment on it. I don't have a problem with 343. As long as they keep getting better. It looks like GAAS is here to stay as Sony is investing heavily in it now.
I am really excited to try this game today. Looks fun.

Looking forward to this. Been a while since we had a game with the Masters in it. That is the game's killer features. Not having tiger.. Meh, I never use the pga players anyway. Its always been about building your own player. Having the 4 majors plus some other big events is what has me excited.

I actually fired up crackdown 3 and played through the campaign again. I found it pretty enjoyable. Was it amazing, no but i had a lot of fun.
I'm really hoping this turns out as good as it looked in the first trailer. Will be nice to dive into the universe.

I love how absolutely everyone who bashes Gamepass bought a 30 year subscription for a penny, blah blah, almost everyone I know did the 1 dollar and then just kept it paying the either monthly or yearly subscription. Of course most of my friends are gamers from back in the day.
I started playing Far Cry 5, I think its pretty good. Looking forward to playing the Yakuza games as well.
