33 million N64's vs 102 million PS1's....the N64 was a nice system but come on, the PS1 crushed it sales-wise. That's not even debatable.

I'm blown away at the great reviews Halo 3 is getting but one game doesn't make a system. For example, the N64 had both The Legend of Zelda: Orcina of Time and Mario 64 (two of the greatest games of all time) yet the PS1 still crushed the N64 that generation
(One reason was...ahem... N64's cartridge media was being too restrictive for game publishers....history repeating itself?).

Euro ps3 lost the EE but retained the GS. The 40gb ps3 will presumely lose both the EE and GS, making ps2 BC much less plausible as well as making it cheaper to produce.

IMO, the name 'Dreamcast' is one of the worst names a gaming console has ever been given. 'Dreamcast' you think 'Dream'. 'Dream' you think sleep and boring. Considering the main videogame demographic is males aged 15-34, the last thing a console needs to be associated with is 'boring'. Whoever thought of the name (and more importantly approved it) gets a failing marking in my book.
But as a console itself, I thought the Dreamcast was pretty good. It just got blindsided and...
Too bad Microsoft's hardware engineers suck. Look at how the Xbox 360 turned out...what a joke. Unfortunately for Microsoft, hardware can't be patched.
The original Xbox was an ugly monstronsity but worked well. The Xbox 360 is fairly nice looking but is the most unreliable in console history. Microsoft just can't get it right on the hardware side.
Would kind of suck if they played it on a sh!tty tv. Hopefully they already have an hdtv.
Sony should have just threw in an hdtv also.

Because I worked with a girl who looked a lot like her (she was 1/4 Vietnamese). This girl I worked with was hot as hell (like Jade; exact same body type, really, really pretty face) but a little on the ditzy side (not really like Jade but you can't really tell from interviews).

Although I think Warhawk is a great game and deserves the good reviews, this game is sort of the anti-Wii. Due to Warhawk's learning curve, its a rather exclusive gaming experience. Grandmothers need not apply.
Don't think we'll be seeing Warhawk in the nursing homes anytimes soon. The complexity would probably give some of the residents strokes.
Wow, I didn't expect a score like this from 1up. Weren't the guys at 1up the ones who said they would deduct a point from the review if the downloadable version was over 30 bucks?
Gosh, with this 1up review and the EGM review (of HS and Warhawk, both favorable), I may have to re-think my position on 1up, EGM and anti-ps3 bias.
Thanks 1up for keeping an open mind about Warhawk and allowing it to impress you (either negatively or positively). Good job.
I am also impressed EGM gave HS and Warhawk pretty good scores (not to mention Bioshock). Hopefully they'll continue to give ps3 titles the benefit of the doubt rather than being unreasonably critical (as I think was the case with the Lair review).

Actually, a lot of people (the smart ones) are waiting for the 'Falcon', 65nm Xbox 360's to come out. I personally wouldn't touch the 90mn Xbox 360's with a 10-foot pole.
