I hate to burst the bubble but a few things caught my attention.
#1- the preview mentioned that the shooting mechanic needs some work. Will GG change this much? Sure hope so b/c its a shooter.
#2- No mention of enemy AI, whether it was good or bad....that kind of worries me b/c in all the movies I've seen enemy AI seemed questionable. Sure the difficulty may have been set to 'easy' but I still have my doubts.
#3- the article mentions a late 2...
One more reason why the original Xbox failed in Japan...the hardware itself was freaking humougous. So much so, it was really, really ungainly. The original Xbox was the size of 2-3 VCR's (modern VCR's that is)...ridiculous.
Now, with the Xbox 360, they tried to make the console more normal size but the totally f-ed up the circulation. Lets face it, MS sucks at making hardware.
Since this is the Netherlands, I'll cut these guys some slack. The Netherlands is a small, predominately white country (pop. only 16 millon), so I would imagine the DIVERSITY of hot chicks there would be small.

@felman: No, no, no. How many times does this need to be said? The ps2 had a cpu (EE) and a gpu (Graphics synthesizer).
US 60gb ps3's had both the EE and the GS. Euro ps3's and 80gb ps3's only had the GS, software emulated the EE.
This 40gb ps3 will probably remove the GS (which will probably save around $20 in manufacturing costs) and thus BC will be gone. Because the GS is a b!tch to emulate with software, Sony programmers would pull their hair out trying ...

wow, you kids get confused easily (most teenagers don't understand this). the EE and GS are different chips, ones a cpu ones a gpu.
the EE (ps2's cpu) was removed from 80gb but the GS (ps2's gpu) was retained. in the 40gb, the gs will also be removed.
Cost savings (my calculations):
-$20-30 (bye bye Wifi)
-$10-20 (bye bye BC, No Graphics Synthesizer chip)
-$10-20 (bye bye Card Reader)
-$10-20 (bye bye 40gb of HD space; 80gb HD to 40gb HD)
Total savings: $50-90
Sony can probably save an extra $10 here and there (their engineers can figure that out). The rest of the difference (if there is one; probably $20-30) Sony is going to have to eat.
I want to be as far away from those brands and models as possible. Microsoft sucks at producing hardware. Period.
