The difference between the Xbox 1 and Ps2 was immense. The difference between the Ps3/360 hardware-wise is very minor. The 360 offers a online experience very well (it is indeed superior to PSN). I know many ps3 owners who get the Xbox version just for Xbox live.
Look at the exclusive round up, Gears 3 will outsell UC3--online play is a big part of that. However nearly ALL the huge hitters this fall are multi-plat. Skyrim, BF3, MW3 ect...Exclusives play a part in driving console sale...

@zero_cool Sorry to burst your bubble, but even when you take the 360 out of the mix, the PS3 holds this game back as well. With either console, you hit a ceiling. I personally wish games would be developed for PC and PORTED to console, not vice versa. lol Yeah, but this delusion of the PS3 having so much longevity and how some people include it in the PC camp (I lol ever time) and believe its the 360 holding games back is just laughable. The PS3 version will be every bit as good as the 360 version, you can count on that as Bethesda has always been very good with multiplatform titles. Did anyone else notice the PS3 version of Oblivion had exclusive music? The in-game music had some different pieces playing--check it out.
Todd Howard has always favored the Xbox 360 over PS3 as he is a PC guy--the console resembles the PC much more so than the PS3. That's it. As for the download content, that is the product...
