The screen shots say summer holiday, not gloomy noire MP....Games are looking more and more the same...I want the art style from the first games. I am ever so ambivalent until it releases.

The list is solid, except Half-life is missing. Swap Crysis (was mainly graphics) and your good.
The Elderscrolls V: Skyrim. Other games don't matter as I will be busy with this game until the next gen of consoles arrives lol
That's exactly it. What I have seen so far is lacking that grimy,seedy adult underbelly feel. The dark, snowy streets of new york which illustrated the grimmer side of humanity through prostitution/drugs/crime complimented MP 1&2 thus creating one of the best game atmospheres/level design that are seldom matched in terms of immersion. I stopped reading Skyrim articles 2 months ago lol I want the game to seem 'new'--get some surprises. Game coverage all but ruins the game nowadays...
What is your beef with downloadable titles? Just like owning the actual disc?
I am a Pc gamer, and believe games are best experienced on a pc. If they allowed cross-online play between PC and XBL, I'd have little reason to play console games. When you take online play out of the mix, PC games are just superior in every aspect. Skyrim for example, will be best on PC. Mouse and Keyboard take some getting used to (especially if your a console gamer) but once you do, it beats the controller hands down.

Awe, man now there are no Pc exclusives! lol Im glad to see others get a chance to play this game. Yes, it looks gross on the consoles (had to throw that in there CaliGamer lol) and you owe it to yourself to play it on PC as it still is one of the best looking games to date--way ahead of it's time. If they put a multi-player component in it, I may pick up a copy.

I am of the crowd that found GTA IV boring, repeptitive and dated. Its the same gameplay/theme over and over. San Andreas was superior IMHO. Rockstar needs to shake things up, reinvent some game mechanics/story elements. "Go steal this car, out run cops"/"Go drive by and kill X"/"Send message to X"/ are all story elements overdone in their games.
Max Payne however, has been an awesome series. I'll take Max Payne before GTA unless they bring...

Same. I pirate games that are new, no reputation. I buy them if a) I know its a franchise I love i .e. Elder Scrolls or B)I liked what I played. Black Ops for example: if you don't play the MP--the game isn't worth the 60$--I pirated it.
If you hold true to the adage "buy the games you love", and I do, your merely testing games out at no extra cost. Problem is the ones who purely pirate. Its sad to see great games like Elder Scrolls, Witcher 2 and Half-life...
