Evidently to many people, this is a major part of the franchise which many seem to care about. Tomb Raider Lost artifact was a PC exclusive 14 years ago, and i could remember none caring two hoots about it as we slowly entered the 128 bit generation.
Had this game not sported next gen visuals, or been a sequel to a defunct reboot; I don't think many would have made such a fuss about it.
I like 3rd person a little more, but i'll let the fans decide.
true. i would have liked though uncapped cut scenes.
Looks like 4k and uncapped gameplay is the only real upgrade, the cutscenes are still 30fps locked. not sure if i'll get this again, maybe much later.
"In addition to that, we learn that the cars have about 60,000 polygons each on consoles, while the PC version on Ultra shows cars with between 200,000 and 300,000 polygons. "
The PC version is 5x more than the consoles, wow.
It doesn't bother me to have it in the story really. I thought it was funny to cross dress in FFVII. I just like though the whole idea of choice when i play their games.
I have my feet in both realms, and to tell you the truth i use my PC way more. i only switch over to play them exclusives. Unlocked gaming experience + Steam + Game Pad usage + the MODing community; completes the package to PC gaming and keeps me very attached.
the concepts of female link look cute........now give her black underwear.
I thought people said the reboot was a Gears of Uncharted clone, having little to do with raiding tombs. now people are talking about how much they want the sequel?
Some people probably don't see a good thing until once it's not there.
"Will a Timed Exclusive Make You Purchase an Xbox One?"
I don't think so. But if you were leaning towards that platform for some time on other reasons, then it may be one more reason. Also, timed exclusives don't always land on a 6 month waiting period, some games have taken much longer.
"Rise of the Tomb Raider multi-platform petition gathers pace"
You know, PC got shafted twice, no definitive edition or the sequel and nobody did anything about that. PS gamers must really want this game.
I don't think it's a point and click, you can move with a controller. anyways, i don't know it felt like it.
I saw the full konami interview on twitch, I wasn't expecting too much information about this project. I did notice there was a lot of requests on the site asking for it to be a ps4 exclusive, or if it was. none of which was asked or clarified.
The only thing that was specifically pointed out was where you'll be able to find the playable teaser, leaving out the full game. It seems that kojima wanted to express his new way of communicating using the playstaion platform...
After watching this, This feels like it was inspired by David cage.
"Square Enix and Remember Me creators Dontnod Entertainment announced Life Is Strange two days ago, and today the publisher sent in another slew of new screenshots of the PC version."
The hair on the characters is way too low quality, considering Square Enix's flashy hair standards. other than that, I liked Remember ME so i look forward to this game.
Sharingan_no_Kakashi - "
MS confirmed it's only a timed exclusive. Ps4 will get it with better resolution and prolly all the dlc in 2016. I can wait."
Not sure if that is all correct, what is correct though is that the Ps4 will have one less game to look forward to next year.
" Having this in mind, Murray says that repetition may occur after playing the game for 4000 to 5000 years. "
5000 years? ain't nobody got time for that!!!
I was wondering when this was going to happen. just yesterday i saw the wiki page of MGSV, the PC section of it was never reconfirmed or removed, so i assumed it was still in effect.
well anyways, thanks to steam, PC gaming has changed.
"PC fans, get ready for a treat. During 2K Games’ NBA 2K15 News Recap, Ronnie2K revealed that the PC version will be identical to the Xbox One and PS4 versions."
so they're holding it back for parity, got it.
VaporCell -"I wish they would show us what it's possible to do in a game with all the AI and environmental components of a game, rather than a beauty tech demo. Lots of tech demos leave you wanting they would transition into a game but nope."
Games can take years to make. even longer if it's coming from a small indie team. this video was made by one person.
