the ps4 and XB1 are 98% graphics chip, take that one part out and you are left with a calculator, it's the same with also PC.

It depends on your standards, If your needs are small you could be just fine sticking with even the last gen consoles. the more you want out of your games the more you need to elevate your choices.

Each elevation comes with a price of it's own. From last gen consoles, to Current gen consoles, to enthusiast level PCs.

I would say FFXV looks very Shōnen to me, or Guhan shōnen with all those young guys in the trailer cruising for trouble. Noctis looks like Sasuke from naruto. ever since Advent children they've always kept the style.

I saved up and got both. one good reason though why i love PC is the endless archiving of games of both old and new. there are no inconveniences of letting go old games to embrace new games or vice versa on PC.

lolz, you can't complain on this deal. the people who are complaining are the ones who payed $60, or $80 (imported). Or pre-ordered it with the original belief that it was AAA exclusive.

......that has nothing to do with playing games on PC. people play what they want. And usually PC gamers have had a console at some point in their life. I've had 7.

A pretty looking trailer at best for now. It's no different really than the impressions of when FFXIII trailers were first out; pretty visuals, mega hype. can it's story equal it's epic scale? I do really hope so.

the series wasn't too bad, the first game was pretty linear though i'll have to admit. Now that it's coming to Steam at 75% off and in crisp 1080p 60 fps fidelity; it will be more enjoyable.

I'm also picking it up if it means future games from them will come to steam as well.

lol at gamers defending all of their 3rd party exclusives in other threads, while at the same time wanting 3rd party developers to stop making theses stupid deals.

I agree 3rd party exclusivity is lame, yet everyone still contributes to it in many other threads.

yes it's only on the selected platforms. but it's powered by an engine that runs on all platforms. it's speculated that this is timed. considering that the franchise is also on all platforms.

can't tell much from the trailer other that it looks great, some things in the game appear to standout, though it's nothing different from what we've seen in FF7 and FF8. I just hope the story is something new and wonderful.

they should have invested it into project spark, it's newer. with more money they could make more themes out of the tool, cell shaded, realistic, and rustic. it's got way more potential.

I'll be keeping a close eye for when the steam version of this hits. we all know it's going to happen. last year Kitase said quote -
