"Would you believe Final Fantasy 15's graphics are at only 70%?"
they probably mean performance because it's not perfectly 30 fps. I'd like to believe they're pushing for more graphics detail, the problem is any more and the performance would be horrible. this greatly effects the speed of the sword action.
FFXIII-2's performance was almost terrible to enjoy, dipping as low as 20 fps on the real heavy cinemas. i don't really w...
Trying to boost the sale of their spinoffs by putting it in the same sentence of a FFVII remake, sucks that it has to be done this way.
Oh man wow, i can't wait for my grand kids to see this!!!
characters look great, gameplay needs to improve. I also notice there is no environment damage, that should be in this game. The DBZ anime is always punctual on world destruction.
the moment Chocobos are gone is the moment final fantasy dies. Final fantasy VIII had no problem including them in their high-tech world, why should this game?
The dude with the beret is Kaz? i thought it was campbell. I probably must have lets some old news slip past me.
After reading everyone's suggestions, the requirement to play as Joel.....any man with a beard.
Unreal Engine 4 is the best choice, it produces much quicker results I've been told. it also supports a bunch of DX11 technology. good job for these guys, i really do hope they finish this!
This game truly is awkwardly different then most titles, In the best way though. It's like one of the picassos of video games. Microsoft definitely has a gem here.
It looks great,
pros - it's definitely the best looking in the series.
cons - performance felt kinda slow, and the combat seems slower than last year's E3 gameplay montage.
You can bet some of the voice actors in FFXIII to be in there. And judging by their Ages there going to get young voice actors. Prompto argentum is a pretty boy and he over exaggerates in the trailer. the possibility of him getting Vincent Martella is high.
Troy baker could be Gladiolus or Ignis. Tim Phillipps or Johnny Yong Bosch for Noctis, and Yuri Lowenthal could be Ignis as well. my predictions.

Well FF games are classics, what platform to preserve them on. "
Exactly, PC has become a great source for it. and to say the least i owned Final fantasy VII originally on plastation. when i saw FFVII's PC box i was like "no way!", It didn't bother me. In fact i told a friend who had a PC to get it, just to see what was it like out of curiosity.
The effect it had on me was the opposite compared to like how i saw ...
Correction, Ever since Hironobu left, final fantasy hasn't been at home. it's his creation not Sony's, Nintendo's or Microsoft's.
Going far back as a kid, Final Fantasy's original home always was Nintendo. But like how that changed in 1997, times are once again changing now, i say all platforms.
Powered by the engine that made gears of war. says a lot about how much people know what UE3 is capable of.
@ windblowsagain
Agreed. I have the XB1 version and all i see is a small difference. I guess i don't really need to pick this up again, i'll probably wait for when it's really dirt cheap. for now i'm just fine with what i got.
well, i know one things for sure, only two at a time can play.
It looks like it just baby steps. It's been said You'll need a really fast internet connection to reap the payoff. I would still get the steam version a lot more. at least with the steam version you get to keep it and be able to test it on other windows based devices.
9/10.....by destructoid? their first 9/10 in years!!!! lol, sleeper hit confirmed.
Shinox- "NO , That would be insulting to the Playstation history and legacy FF7"
.......Their FFVII bike game that they're making is for mobile devices.
And FFVII was originally made on the N64.
