I know it's weird to think that something that we have all done in our infancies may be outdated, but it really is.
It's absurd that a kid spends 5 to 8 hours in school - which is practically a full day's work - only to get home and do MORE WORK. Kids should have just as much time to play as they have to study, and currently that's not the case in many school systems. To practically expect our kids to put in the same amount of work as working adults, or even...
Well, there's also the fact that homework, generally speaking, is an archaic concept that needs to be phased out of school. But that's a big can of worms to open for sure.
It's funny to see all the armchair game developers in here pretending to know more about the videogame industry than freaking Amy Hennig.
Last I checked, Wolfenstein II isn't on the PS3. Where are you drawing your comparisons from?
And lol at your resolution claims. Many PS3 and Xbox 360 games were sub-720p. And very few of them attained a locked 30fps frame rate, let alone 60 fps.
The Switch absolutelyoutperforms the PS3 on a technical level, and it's maybe 1/8th of its size.
Follow up? Nintendo did it first with the DSi, then the New 3DS. It was actually worse because those machines had some games that couldn't run on the previous hardware. Whereas in the case of PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, they do not have any exclusive games, all of those still run fine on the base consoles.
Have you played Splatoon 2? I'm not much of an online play guy, but this game is amazing and lots of fun. The Octo expansion that just came out is auperb, too.
If you care about powerful hardware, you get a PC.
BC is nice, but not essential. Wii was BC with all Cube games, but people bought it to play Wii games. Wii U was compatible with all Wii gamea, and people didn't buy it. Lol.
Nintendo doesn't need to buy new studios. Unlike Microsoft, they actually have strong exclusives.
Agree with VC amd good online service.
As for port machine... well... Xbox is also a bit ...
Really? That hasn't been an issue for me at all. I use glasses, btw. Could it be that you may need to get your eyesight checked?
But its third party support is actually growing, not dwindling. Or did you somehow miss that Fortnite, Paladins and Wolfenstein II just came out for it, along with a growing list of indies and japanese games? All of these are third party too, you know. Expecting AAA third party stuff on this thing is unrealistic, seeing how it's portable and way less powerful than stationary home consoles.
I would love to eventually play Cyberpunk and Red Dead Redemption 2 on this thing...
Except they always do for their hardware. The only exception was the Wii U.
You need a reality check. Sure, it's more expensive than in the U.S, but in many countries, especially third world countries, the price is significantly higher - and the average income is far lower, to boot. In my country, it launched at around $500, if not a bit higher.
I disagree. I actually prefer it when game publishers reveal their games when they're less than a year away from launch.
Having a game announced only to know it won't come out for several years only saps the excitement out of it for me. That's why I don't really care much about Metroid Prime 4, Elder Scrolls 6, Cyberpunk, next main Pokémon game, Death Stranding, etc. I hate long hype cycles.
Your downplaying of God of War and Detroit is pathetic.
And I say this as a massive Nintendo fan. If you can't make an argument in favor of a console without taking a shit on other consoles, you're not doing it right.
This fanboyish attitude only makes you just as bad as the idiotic Nintendo haters that pululate this site.
I agree. The hand cramps will be massive.
That's some pretty damn fine trolling.
Because if that wasn't trolling, Jesus... you worry about a kiss between two girls being bad for your 10 year old kid, but the extreme violence you subjected him to for the rest of the trailer was fine?
Why? It just makes sense in the HDTV era. The camera zooms out a bit to compensate.
I could see it being an issue if you played in a really small HDTV, but it will probably be just fine in the majority of households.
I prefer split screen to only a single screen, because the players at the background always will have a disadvantage compared to the players in the foreground. Splitscreen solves it and puts everyone in equal footing.
It's got 78 in Metacritic so far. That's not mediocre, dude.
Sharks be sexy
You're aware that 99% of games still revolve around heterosexual people, and the majority of them around men, right?
Yet you get your panties in a bunch because a minuscule fraction of these games, almost non-existent, choose to portray their female character as a lesbian.
Also, LGBT representation is a good thing. Variety is a good thing. The world is not going insane because of this, it's actually changing for the better in some small ways. Get ...
It's coming. But yeah, not implemented yet.
