No they dont. This website is the most anti-Nintendo website and has enough articles to fill a museum. But nearly all of Nintendo's ports has actually upgraded aspects of the games. From frame rate to resolution to upgraded graphics to adding in all DLC(or new dlc) with the package. This is nearly a direct port (upgraded resolution but that's it) and they even removed the multiplayer. So compare what Nintendo does with what Rockstar (actually Take Two) is doing.
Blame take two. They're the ones who has all the say so for Rockstar games. And they're the ones pulling the price BS here.
"not Souls-like difficulty where you just need to learn the fights and develop your fighting skills."
... except you DO need to develop your fighting skills. The environment, your character abilities, potions, scrolls, enemy weaknesses etc. All come into play for the combat. The game may not be for you if you're referencing souls games which are a completely different class of RPG than BG.
Oh so since Nintendo does it, it's now a bad thing but when WB did it with the nemesis system nobody cared? This website keeps showing its bias towards Nintendo.
Yes patent for gameplay mechanics should not be a thing but come on guys, you slap Nintendo on anything and it's suddenly the worst thing you've heard about in gaming history but other companies do it before Nintendo and it's nowhere near the hate that you give them.
As always, people slap that disagree but can't seem to actual counter what I say.
Why are people giving Rockstar shit? They're owned by take two who literally calls all the shots. Publishers are always why devs look like shit. Hell this article is literally the publisher talking and people are still saying "fuck Rockstar".
@Terry_B
I mean, I have. Most if not all older game ports have ran better along with better resolution/Updated graphics. There's a few bad ports here and there but the majority run great.
Optimization doesn't mean it's buggy. It means it's not utilizing hardware as it should. This was proven when an rtx 4090 couldn't do 4k60 without Ray tracing. This isn't THAT good looking of a game and it's not that big. The team is utilizing a new engine they're not too familiar with.
Yea this isn't the fault of the graphics card. It's the fault of the developer. This game is horribly optimized.
@darthv72
Not everyone is willing to go out and buy a ps3 for a single game or a handful of games when they have a ps4 or a ps5. A port or remaster would actually help. Younger audiences who did not grow up with a ps3 would have exposure to these games that Sony has essentially left behind on the ps3 due to them not investing in backwards compatibility. If they would do backwards compatibility then we wouldn't need to shill out more money for the same games. Something I...
A remaster would allow people who don't have access to a ps3 to experience the game since there's so many stuck on the ps3 that are exclusive to the console and Sony refuses to invest in backwards compatibility
Wut?
"exactly gayboy...smh"
Exactly indeed
Says the guy crying about fake games🤣🤣
Doesn't matter. The article is about innovation not success. Lol the virgin Iceman100x Doesn't know how to read🤣🤣
Lmao. The fact that you can't tell the difference between innovation and success says enough here.
Dude the 2008 game did so much ahead of its time. Yes the originals were innovative. But this one was too.
Honestly, I enjoyed it. I like that the map was broken up and each area felt different. The combat was kinda fun and the gore was over the top. Story was meh but the game play kept me in it. Wish more games would drop the open world and do more bite size worlds and focus on the game play instead of bloat.
That's not native tho. Being able to download games makes it loads better.
Yea just like when any of the outlets do this for any popular game right?
