No de soto? Lameeee.
I feel like there's just no way I can win this. Ever.
Micro-transactions are where it's at. Just ask Zynga.
Haha, truth. That was dumb on my part.
Either way, Seth Rogan should never be in a video game.
Crap, does this mean the character will be based on Seth Rogan? That would be the worst.
I agree, except saying categorically that zombies don't belong in FPS is just plain wrong. If someone manages to do it well, who cares if its FPS, RPG, TPS, or even 2D side-scrolling?
Elika is mah jams. She may make the game a little too easy, but she's easily my favorite of the side characters.
Arthur FTW!
Chun Li is mah jams.
I agree, and its definitely an issue of software. The hardware seems to have proven itself usable and useful, but the software needs to meet it there.
HK-47 FTW!
I mean, I'm pretty interested in Jessica Chobot...
Curse you, Sega!
I feel like often fanboyism is sort of born out of financial situations. If I only had enough money to buy a PS3, I'd probably justify my purchase of that over the 360 by getting really adamant that PS3 software is superior.
How is Superman 64 not on that list?! Lame...
As evidenced by my review of Mafia 2, I absolutely agree. However, I think that 2K is trying to respond to some concerns about the limited breadth of the missions by putting side quests in DLC. I think.
I couldn't agree more about FF13, but Bioshock and Half-Life 2 both had "cut-scenes", just in a non-traditional sense. Instead of jumping out of the player's skin and getting some floating camera perspective, you just stayed as Gordon or Jack and experienced the scene first-person. But they are definitely cut-scenes in the regard that they "cut" between the action and playable portions of the game.
It's tough, like she says, to justify skewing games towards female gamer's desires unless there is solid evidence to support the notion that it would be overall profitable (from the publisher's perspective). But I would love to see it happen nonetheless. Expansion of the market's audience means a bigger industry, more money, and hence, more games. Hard to argue with that.
Battlefront. Why the fall of Pandemic meant the end of this series is beyond me given the obvious demand.
Turns out its more actiony stressful than straight up scary, at least after the first chapter.
