Man you aren't kidding about the set pieces. Some of the best ever. The fact that a lot of those set pieces moved at some point took them to a whole new level.
Man - no way am I buying this version. I'm holding out for the PS6 version!
That's what I would do too but I'm holding out hope that there will be a pc version of it at some point. Loved the game on my PS4 Pro but if I'm going to be playing it again I want to play it on pc this time.
The original version was such a great pc port that I almost bought it again. But a Director's Cut would definitely give me an excuse to play it again and see what my 3080 can do with it.
I'd love to play it starting from scratch e...
That's what she said.
Seems not particularly optimized given that the game looks not much better or even just equal to Far Cry 5.
I'm shooting for either 4k@60 fps with no ray tracing or 1440p@60 fps with ray tracing if possible. I wonder if the ray tracing implementation is even worth the hit. 60 fps is my priority though.
I wonder where DLSS fits in if it even does. Maybe it supports DLSS but the sponsorship from AMD requires that Ubi not mention DLSS.
I didn't realize Elden Ring was set in Japan. Thought it was just made in Japan.
Have you not been paying ANY ATTENTION?! This one has nothing to do with Fed Ex This time. It's set after the defeat of USPS. This one is all about UPS and The Great Delivery War with Amazon Prime.
The DLC will feature what actually went down between Uber Eats and Door Dash.
Its gravest offence is that the designs look like pandering from someone who is extremely out of touch.
Agreed. It really reminds me of the worst part of Watch Dogs 2, the hipster and cliche hack the world crap. But maybe like WD2 Saints Row's biggest problem will be its character designs and the gameplay will come through.
I think one of the biggest problems is that there is just too much of a good thing. We have so many options that it takes away something.
When we were kids (80's kid here) you would buy or rent and play that one game that you just got. You were pretty much forced to be committed to it. There were no free 2 play games. You had what you had and it hardly mattered if it sucked or if you could never get past a certain boss.
It was just fun and you'd p...
Yep same here. Tons of wishlist notifications about sales and I have no memory of what the games are even about. And I don't bother to look because I already have a giant backlog.
I'm also finding that too many choices make me give games less time to draw me in and I just keep moving on, trying next after next but rarely sticking with anything.
Grime was the last game I really got hooked on and went through the entire game.

Made by Firaxis so this definitely isn't your typical cash-in on the Marvel name alone.
MAN did I ever go full blown OCD with the placements/limit of the zip lines. So satisfying...
I'm excited mainly because it's Firaxis. They've never done me wrong.
Definitely want to see some gameplay on Sept. 1st. Will it be like x-com, Civ? A combination or something like they've never done?
Agreed. I'd LOVE their B team (if they even have one) or an outsourced full remake (Bluepoint?) of San Andreas and Vice City.
Lol.
I agree but on a side note I think it needs a name change that says it in their titles for the casuals.
It and Forza MS really are beautiful. The only games that compare graphically to me are Demon Souls and Black Myth: Wukong. And I can't leave out RDR2.
I'll definitely be playing both of them. Haven't played a racing game in looooong time.
Of course it's nauseating that they have remastered the remasteres a million times but you know that they just have a gaggle of coders doing that.
There's probably 1,000 other employees working on Elder Scrolls and Spaceworld or whatever the hell their space game is. Kidding, I am looking forward to seeing more of Starfield.
Do you remember fighting through literal hell and when you finally made it out it was Kratos climbing out of his own grave? That was just plain old badass.
