"Original plan for Assassin's Creed series was for it all to end on a spaceship"

It instead ended up on a farm where they milked it to death.

Yeh I agree. I originally signed up for gamepass on PC because of the $1 rate at the time and a single game I would have rather paid $1 to play than to own for 60 bucks. Since then I've stayed with it because they steadily have multiple games Im interested in to play for 15 bucks. I definitely get my money's worth.

I'm certain A LOT of people have done the exact same thing. It's a good deal. Plain and simple.

I totally understand that it&#...

Shadowgate was how I got so familiar with Nintendo's helpline lol. But man did I love that game.

And wow I forgot all about P.O.W. until you mentioned it. Man being a kid with a NES really was the good ol days.

Best birthday ever: 15 and I got a Super Nintendo with Super Mario World, Pilot Wings and Street Fighter. (Spoiled rotten) And I saw Basic Instinct at the theater!

"How much better does a game really look with the Ray Tracing?"

It really depends on the game. It looked great on the PC version of Cyberpunk but there are other games where it's not noticeable enough.

I've been playing the ray tracing version of Minecraft and I honestly find myself sometimes just staring in awe at its effect on the game; especially at sunset when the lighting is really moving and stretching shadows. I'd never go bac...

Totally agree. When RE7 came out I played the whole game on PSVR and it was one of the best gaming experiences I had had in a very very long time. Absolutely immersive.

You just delivered up a heck of a "that's what she/he said" opportunity but I won't go there. Oh damn I did.

I'm wondering if RE8 is planned for it. It's the only decent reason I can think of that they didn't release a PSVR1 and PC VR version.

Yeh I stroked out there. I have my vacation set a week after launch so any launch day bugs can hopefully get patched out.

@Elit3Nick

I had the stuttering with an rtx 3080 but the one thing that finally fixed it for me was just disabling gamebar's recording feature. Works fine if I'm using shadowplay's recording features so it's strange that MS's own app was the culprit.

It's run perfectly ever since I disabled it. And it's some good fun too. Graphically it actually looks a lot better than I expected but I did have mediocre expectations.

My question is how did this become the hottest article on N4G?

Reminds me of when I was a kid and found a not-wrapped-yet Game Genie present in my mom's closet. I opened it up and found a card to mail off for a big book of extra codes so I'd hopefully get that close to Christmas. Carefully closed it back up afterwards so it looked untouched.

That was the last year I snooped for Christmas presents because I knew every single thong I was getting on Christmas. No surprises ruined that Christmas.

I learned my les...

While I DID purchase it on my Switch I had to experience it in 4k so I actually played it on my pc. I even took comparison phone shots of the switch version vs the 4k just so I could really see the difference. Obviously a HUGE difference.

Damn I really NEED this game. Definitely using a vacation for it.

I played it but didn't finish it just due to open world fatigue. I definitely had fun up until the onset of the fatigue suddenly hit.

I've been playing through odyssey lately and having a lot of mindless fun with it. I just have not been able to get into Valhalla.

"Curl up" like the morphball? I get it ha, even if you didn't mean it like that =)

Seriously though I really enjoyed Dread and I've been playing the series since the original NES days. It's not revolutionary but it's still really fun and very much a solid Metroid.

Yeh its that installed user base thats doing it. Sell your game to 100,000 people or 100,000,000. Easy decision for them but I totally respect the devs that want their games to look their best over having mediocre cross gen graphics for more sales.

I really liked it. Played it on pc when it came out and plowed through it. It's a definite recommend from me.

Yeh right before Returnal I had just worn out Hades with probably well over a hundred hours of playtime.

I think going from Hades to Returnal hurt how I felt about Returnal. It was fun but the weapon variety and upgrades just felt too limited in comparison to other top tier Rogue-likes. Dead Cells being a great example of variety.

And having played Demon Souls before Returnal made me unimpressed with the graphics. Demon Souls was just beatiful and looked...

Funny that assassins creed used to be a "stealthier version of assassins creed".
