Yeh 12 was where they lost me. I loved FF until then but couldn't even be bothered with finishing 12.
If it plays and good as it looks then it should be a winner. I hope it has a big ol Soulsborne variety of weaponry.
Only developing it for current gen is lovely. Can't wait to see it.
I'm actually more interested in it because of the team behind it than I am it being a marvel game. It being Marvel is just icing on the cake.
Aside from other cool sounding bits I like the idea of how they're going with the character building moments. Particularly the bonds.
No cross-gen has me excited.
Ever since the original Final Fantasy VII demo I always get excited for FF demos. But I have to say in my humble opinion that the series isnt what it used to be like FFVII - FFX and of course the earlier Final Fantasies. But I do feel like they are making their way back which is why I'm excited for FFXVI.
High hopes but keeping them in check.
I only made it 40 secs in and had to stop watching it. Looks too awesome to spoil any more for myself.
I haven't seen anything from this game that looks anything less than bad ass. The passion of the studio with this game shows through every frame.
I'm almost always that way with the exception being all of dark souls series dlc
Me too. I've been wanting to do a 2nd run through the game despite trying to work through my game backlog. Elden Ring keeps calling but I'll hold out until this DLC. I already know it'll be great.
There MUST already be a porn out there named that.
I really liked Control but the layout and map gave me serious lost-as-hell problems. It really screwed with the pace, for me at least.
@Crows90
I meant from the ground up and yes it would obviously not be coming out anywhere near soon.
It looks fantastic but especially after hearing this I wonder what it could have looked like on the PS5 if it wasn't cross-gen.
You just saved me from watching it. I don't want to see how badass and horrific the big baddies look now until I'm playing it. =]
I'm very happy to hear this but it should honestly be a standard these days.
Off topic but still on topic... I wonder how soon video game devs will start using AI voice acting.
Indie games could really benefit from that.
Yeh the Ubisoft-like open world where you just go from icon to icon on the map was the only real problem I had with Spider-Man. I hope they address that in 2.
Nothing but hip hop music in the game meh. A mix of genres would have been better imo. I miss Road Rash's soundtrack.
Besides my gripe with that though it otherwise looks potentially good. It better have some serious cop chases.
Japan likes mobile gaming and The Switch is the only one of The Big Three that does it.
Maybe someone already knows but how did Sony's handheld fare over there?
GameSpy wow that's one I haven't heard in a while. Forgot about that part of the old days. =)
