Portables mainly, such as the PSP, DS, 3DS and Vita.
FFX was pretty good, yeah. FFXI was an incredibly popular MMO, FFXII I liked but was pretty debated among fans. FFXIII is generally disliked, at least in the west, for lack of exploration, towns and other FF staples. FFXIII-2 fixed the exploration part and made the gameplay more fun, but the story was kinda lacking IMO and there were only two permanent party members with other slots being taken up by monsters you recruited.
Fire Emblem's pretty mature too. Genocide, slavery, racism, incest, etc. SMT is pretty up there but Fire Emblem is no slouch either.
@doogiebear
I was merely stating that it couldn't have done better on the PS4 because it wasn't an option. I harbor no 'delusions' that Bayonetta 2 will sell million upon millions of copies. Platinum's games unfortunately have a habit of selling relatively poorly.
Nobody other than Nintendo wanted to even touch Bayonetta 2. Nintendo put forth the funds, so that's where it is at. Whether we like it or not, that's the deal.
>Earlier this month, I also had a friendly discussion with two highly respected Kotaku writers/editors, Stephen Totilo and Jason Schreier.
They are NOT highly respected. Those two, in fact, are some of the most frequently mocked Kotaku guys. Then there's the implication that Kotaku is respected. Otherwise it was a pretty good article.

This is a gameplay mechanic, not a policy or a statement. Its home console has little to do with it. There are people here that don't like it. You have no real point. There is a Sony bias here, that is true and pretty obvious. It isn't, however, so pervasive that this goes into even game mechanics. It's usually just positive reactions towards PS4 winning predictions and negative reactions towards X1 winning predictions.
I understand the reasoning why it needs to be unlocked, so I wouldn't. Are you implying that the only reason people are OK with this is because it's a Sony exclusive? I'd rather not have people going 'Why did I drop my weapon, how do I pick things up, OMG why are you taking the treasure' every time I went online.
Please no. I don't want a Battlefront every other year, I want a Battlefront that actually had time and effort put into it. Please don't milk this, I want Battlefront to be good. Give it the dev time it needs, not the one that fits your wallet with the most money. I suppose that's too much to ask of EA, though.
>platforming was good
It was buggy, glitchy and had no real depth to it.
>combos
A lot of the attacks aren't shown in move lists and are shared between weapons.
>weapon design
Not really, they were actually pretty bland. Arbiter was a white and red axe, Osiris(sp?) was a white scythe. How is that great weapon design? There's almost nothing unique or neat to them that makes me go 'That's cool'.
>character developme...
Considering that it isn't a direct sequel you should be fine to jump in here. Just remember to pay attention, whether it's your move speed, what your stats do, or item descriptions. A lot of complaints and problems people have can be remedied by simply reading descriptions or by being cautious.
>Wiiu isn't beating ps3 or Xbox right now
While the whole 'Wii U was never doing bad' thing is pretty delusional, being outsold by previous consoles early on isn't uncommon. The PS3 was being outsold by the PS2, the 3DS was being outsold by the DS, etc. That's not really a valid complaint considering it makes sense that an established console, with a grown library of games and likely rather cheap comparatively, would still sell more than a new and uncer...
It's the base version this time, so they are.
They said if they developed for next-gen then the game would take even longer to release, as well as the fact that a lot of their fans would still be on current-gen systems.
It's actually saying Kadokawa should buy them, though their reasoning of why Nintendo shouldn't is silly considering SMT, Atlus' main game series where you can side with Lucifer and kill YHVH, was on the SNES in the early 1990's with pretty much no problem. Atlus has censored itself more than other companies have censored them.
Atlus merely published Demon's Souls, they didn't make it.
Fire Emblem is an IS game, not an Atlus game. But yes, 3rd party independent is best. I also don't get why so many people hate the idea of them going Nintendo like they'll be ruined.

Did you seriously just resort to alt account accusations? LOL
@Dougiebear's edit
If I wanted an alt/sock account to bump myself up I wouldn't have my disagree ratio now would I? I could just make more until I had a positive ratio. Stop being a child.
@Need4Game
He didn't make an ad hominem attack. That would be if he said 'You're retarded/gay/communist/[insert something here]' instead of actually arguing the point. He never attacked you.
Xenoblade was GameStop exclusive and under-stocked as well, due to them believing it wouldn't sell well.
