I was already expecting this game to be one of the best ever made, and really looking forward to seeing some in game footage.
Then I see the gameplay, and it looks even better than I thought it would. The dragons look real, and there aren't even real dragons - how does that work!?
It's just ridiculous, I can't wait.
I loved my Gamecube, had some great times on it. Particularly with the Resi series (the remake of the first one was epic).
So what exactly is your idea of a good game then?
Do you know that Halo 4 won't use Kinect?
Unless it's been confirmed somewhere and I haven't seen it, I'm willing to bet it will have some form of Kinect support.
Man I hope this is the case.
So you've never seen that happen in a Battlefield game?
Never seen someone blow up a plane just because a team mate is closer?
What about people fighting over the artillery in Bad Company?
Say what you want about Battlefield being better than CoD or vice versa, but people are always going to play like douches online and there's still lots of people lone wolfing it on Battlefield.
@Marcus Fenix
Exactly what I was going to write.
Bubs.
Well I am a 360 fan, and while Halo anniversary might be ok to pass some time, it's hardly anything spectacular. Halo 4 will have to do something pretty new to keep me interested really.
It's bad news because I thought 360 might actually be getting a big, new exclusive ip, but it's just going to be some Kinect gimmick.
I'm still hopeful that there'll be some cool stuff on show, but for the moment I'm not impressed.
Haven't played an Ace Combat game since the first one, these sort of games aren't really my thing usually but this one looks bad ass.
I like how it's not just fighter jets all the time. Has it been like this in other Ace Combat games?
Microsoft's conference is looking more and more dismal by the minute...
Yeah nothing says "teamplay" like 6 guys sitting around a tank spawn trying to get in it first, then throwing grenades at each other and stuff when someone does get in it...
It's pretty much the most accessible shooter there is. As I've said above, there's people who aren't even really into games that much who play CoD all the time.
That makes it a casual game in my eyes.
It just appeals to everyone. I often see people who barely even play games talking about CoD and playing it regularly. There's people who own consoles and only have the CoD games, nothing else.
Skyrim is coming out so I'm good for about two years...
It'll probably just be about the Kinect features for Mass Effect 3.
I think it's the fault of the developers though and the ways they try to implement co-op.
I think if you could just join your friends game on Skyrim with your own character and go around and help them it would be pretty good fun.
I wouldn't want a seperate mode or some sort of story to tie in two characters. I don't care about any of that, I'd just like to explore with a friend.
I like games like Halo CE where you're just ...
Almost every time a game on the PS3 gets "hindered" by being on the 360 as well, it's because 360 is the lead platform and the devs aren't great with the PS3 architecture.
Since Insominiac have been PS3 exclusive for ages and had plenty of experience I don't think there should be a problem. Their games have hardly been the most graphically impressive anyway.
- Doomstones, like in Oblivion, can give you birthsign-like buffs and talents. If you decide you want a different constellation to “guide you”, you can activate a different doomstone. They’re scattered across Skyrim.
- The speechcraft wheel from Oblivion is out. Instead, the game offers speech checks like in the Fallout games.
- You can bash and block with bows, staffs and two-handed swords.
- The ecology interacts with each other. Foxes will, for instance, hunt rabbit...
Is it November yet?
How about now?
For: If they did it right it would be incredible.
Against: It's highly unlikely that they'd do it right.
