That's why it's fun in my opinion. What other shooter lets you play almost entirely up close with shotguns?
It's the fast paced close-quarters combat that makes it so intense.
Post-apocalyptic wasteland has been done quite a bit recently as well...
It's not just sitting down for long periods of time. There's usually other underlying factors that cause it. The long periods of sitting down just exacerbate it.
They should have just made a new Populous, they're half way there as it is.
I have been enjoying the game though to be fair, but it's not as good as Populous.

I see it all the time though, even on gaming websites and stuff, it's ridiculous how often it's referred to as a FPS.
I've been looking forward to this game for ages, good to see it getting good scores.

1. Have materia like in FF7.
2. Have fully fleshed out characters that go around with you in a party like in FF7.
3. Be nice and colourful like FF7.
4. Have protagonists with spiky blonde hair like in FF7.

Does it make it exactly like Halo CE's multiplayer? If not then I'm still not happy. I want to play Halo CE with better graphics, that's it, what's the point in changing it?
It looks great, but I don't like how the multiplayer is basically just Reach's multiplayer.
Hmmm, I don't see how you can think it will be harder to find items when they're divided into sub categories. It's much quicker than sifting through everything all in one place.
There are a few G36C's in use by some armed response units but yeah most armed police I've seen (usually in airports) have MP5's

My bad I guess, I'm just bitter at how much fan boy ranting goes on on N4G, especially when it comes to the PS3.
Some pretty bizzare choices in that article if you ask me. The best one would be Mass Effect. Lost Planet could be ok because of the factions in it and the pretty cool game world but I'm not sure it would be "huge".

I don't really get the big deal with comparing Gears with Uncharted. Sure you can compare graphics but as games in general they're for quite different audiences imo.
Gears is the one to get if you like fast paced third person shooters with lots of gore, Uncharted is the one to get if you like Tomb Raider (except better in virtually every way).
If you like both those types of games get both.
