I think Sony has learned alot over the PS3's lifetime and are going have one of the strongest launches of a game console (handheld). They've listened to all the complaints of the PS3 and fixed them for the PS Vita. The only issue I have with the Vita is that it doesn't have any built-in storage. BUT, that's not a huge deal. The games and features more than make up for that.
Also, I wonder if Sony will make a 4G version on down the line a couple y...
Just bring back that one important feature: fun. lol More tongue-in-cheek humor from Vice City and San Andreas. More fun things like jetpacks, jets, planes, skydiving, etc. etc.
Also, it would be really cool if they gave an OPTION to play it in first person view, with fps controls.
And bring back more diversity in the environments. Maybe have mountains, jungles, etc. etc. I loved the environments in Just Cause 2.
How about first and foremost bring back controller button input cheat codes. R1, R2, L1, R2, left, down, right, up, left, down, right, up. It's so much easier to put in cheats like that than bring up an in-game cell phone and have to pick out numbers on the cell phone buttons (GTA 4) So clunky that was.
I disagree with this article. The single player first person shooter will live on for a long time to come. There's still a lot of people who quite enjoy it, including myself. It gives more meaning to the maps you play on the multiplayer as well.
Just give the game more fun stuff to do, like in the PS2 GTA games. Skydiving in San Andreas was extremely fun back in the day. Bring back flyable jets and planes too. And I want controller cheat codes again. Like R1, R2, L1, R2, <, Down, >, Up, etc. Using JUST the buttons, not having to bring up the cell phone like in GTA 4. Putting in cheats was annoying on that game, imo. I remember back on the PS2, putting in the Tank Spawn cheat code over and over again as fast ...
Would be an extremely smart move by Nintendo. A huge third party game like this could sway some buyers to that platform. I'm not too sure, however, if I'd like playing the game on that monstrous controller for the Wii U, though. And the game would probably (sadly) look better visually on the Wii U than the PS3/360.
Please make GTA 5 more fun though than 4. I want the funny and tongue-in-cheek silliness of the PS2/Xbox GTA games. They were so fun and had...
I might just join the Air Force too. lol I've been thinking about it for a long time!! Air Force Reserve though for me so I can still work my job and go to school.
lol There's always gonna be "hype and mud-slinging". People can so damn immature about games it's not even remotely funny.
I just picked up my copy of BF3 earlier today and I'm about 4 missions in and I'm loving it. The jet mission was wonderful and makes me want to join the Air Force.
Yeah, just imagine what Naught Dog could do if they had your PC specs to work with on the PS4. haha Just crazy to even think how good it would be. It already looks insanely good, but that would make Uncharted literally look like you were watching a movie.
I hope the U.S. will fall back in love with the PS brand again, like back in the days of the PS2. I have a feeling that Sony are thinking alot about how to build and market the PS4 to regain the U.S. market as PlayStation dominant again. The PS Vita shows that Sony have learned a lot in the past few years. The PS4 will be THE console to have. Mark my words. The Vita is proof of it.
Man, his face looks sooo damned realistic. It's near photorealistic. I can't wait to see what ND does with the PS4. It's gonna be insane!! Imagine a 16 SPU Cell Processor with 4-8GB of RAM and a better GPU. Quad Layer 100GB Bluray Discs. (with 8-16X read speeds) 1080p native resolution with 60fps. Uncharted 4 will look crazy good!! Just my dream of (backward compatible) PS4 hardware. haha I hope it's something similar to that anyway. And is priced at $500 ...
Yeah, that's not quite the same thing as CoD every year. They (MoH, BC series, BF series) are at least 3 different games with different worlds/stories. Not apples to apples, buddy.
Yep, unlike some other people, I actually quite enjoyed Medal of Honor. Sure, it had its technical issues, but the story and gameplay seemed very authentic and realistic. Color my interest piqued for this game.
I just hope there's more multiplayer maps on the next one. The online was fun, just limited in map choice.
Yay for FREE dlc, not a month later after the game comes out paid dlc. (CoD, etc.) haha GT5 is still the gold standard of racing games, imo. The driving physics are second-to-none. I don't care for the tree graphics, but who cares about that. It's about the cars and driving, not the landscape.
Yeah, but I hope it's on the next generation. I'm so ready for a PS4/720. Will be amazing when they finally drop.
And yeah, Uncharted 3 is shaping up to be the best game this year. I can't believe how gorgeous it looks.
I'm kinda the same way. I just didn't like GTA 4. I was so excited to play it when it came out, having been a fan since the original on the PS1. I bought it and popped it in, and immediately I just hated the driving physics. That's my major gripe with it. I liked the old PS2/Xbox GTA games' driving much better. And, I think that Rockstar went for too much realism and not enough uncanny, goofy, plain-old fun like on the older ones. Just my opinion, but I hope GTA ...
I'd rather see it on the next-gen consoles. However, I'm sure they could do it on both. Have a version for the current-gen consoles and one with much-improved graphics/physics etc. for the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4. I'm sure a lot of games will start doing this in the next couple of years. With such huge user bases, developers won't want to completely abandon these current-gen consoles, so they might start making hybrid games, where there's a version for the PS...
Well dang. I was hoping to get 1943 with BF3. They really shouldn't tell us stuff at E3 and then not deliver on it. But then again, I guess people nowadays are obsessed with paying for dlc for games that could've been on the disc in the first place. DLC is a scam, it really is. I understand if DLC comes out 5-6 months later, cause that means they had to actually make more content to sell to us, but to have dlc literally days or weeks after the release, is just ludicrous. ...
Well said. However, I'm kinda hoping FPS's don't dominate the next generation too. That's one thing I give Sony credit for is differentiating themselves with multiple genres of games in their first party portfolio. (Any genre you can think of, Sony has a few games of.) I still love FPS's too, but I think by the time the PS4/720 come out, I'm gonna be tired of them. I'm already starting to get tired of them a little bit. I'm still gonna play the h...
Oh man, if this is true, I'll definitely be picking this up. Super Smash Bros equivalent for Sony characters. How cool is that!?!
