As I stated earlier, new cars are fixed for free too but that doesn't mean I am not concerned with quality.
So, you're buying a car, and the salesman says, 'listen, it was built like sh*t and there is a very good chance its going to overheat and break down on you, but just bring it in and we'll fix it for the next 3 years.' You're fine with that?

I think you need to take a closer look at my statement. I dont think anyone expects anything to last forever but a warranty is meant to give peace of mind 'just in case' not to make up for poor quality.
If your first concern was quality, the warranty wouldn't be the 'deciding factor'.
