throw in my two cents. I knew Epic said that. I just wanted to point out that it wasn't true. I think that epic said that to cop-out of releasing a demo.
A beta is definitely for feedback. I agree. Demos get feedback, but not on the same scale.
As for me, you won't here any complaints about a company releasing a demo. Bring them on.

You are posting about the Wii. I am impressed. As for the article, the channels have a lot of potential. It is definitely something that is unique to the Wii that sets it apart from the others as an online function.
isn't immune to the firmware upgrade blues. This is very reminiscent of the 360 reports.
MS doesn't support anything larger than 20 gig currently. You can install a larger HD but it won't recognize the extra space. As for a USB drive, the 360 won't write to it, and if it did, the load times would be terrible compared to the serial connection of the standard drive.
Until they give us an option for a larger HD it will remain a problem.
the beginning. The only issue is with the 360 and getting it distributed on Live. MS has to approve everything. Sony has said that user created content is welcome from day one.
The PS1 shipped with out analog. They brought out an analog controller. Then rumble hit the market, so they brought out an analog rumble controller called the dual shock. The PS1's were still sold with the standard non-analog/rumble for a short time after that. Then Sony included it with the console after that. The games after the dual shock came out had both options in the game.
So, this looks like the same story all over again.
a single player campaign and story. The previous versions were 90% multiplayer, 10% single. This one should have a better mix but will still be focused on multiplayer.

COD clone. I highly doubt it will be better than COD3. Maybe the online will connect easier, but I doubt the experience will be as good.
Midway has made some crap before, but maybe the times are changing. Anyone know who is developing this game?
They will hit a peak in sales if new games that really use the system don't come out fast enough. They have some first party titles that look impressive, but the 3rd party hasn't impressed me yet. I do hope the 3rd party developers get it together and do some really good titles .
Since you expect it to be better on the PS3, are you disappointed with the other titles that have gone to the PS3? Did you expect them to be better? So are you disappointed in some of them? Somehow I don't think you are disappointed.
