A game that runs at a locked 30 fps is just as good as a game that runs at 60fps. They shoot for 60 so that when it drops below sixty you won't notice. That is the problem with 30 fps games that drop below 30. You notice. Many years ago there was a article written explaining the human eye doesn't recognize beyond 30 fps.
I can say from experience that this is correct. Playing Resistance vs Call of duty2 which is 30 fps vs 60 fps, there isn't a difference in how smooth it...
As Moore said yesterday, he didn't see it as a price drop. This could change MS minds on lowering there price making the whole change negligible. Kaz said that they wanted to keep one SKU. Unfortunately they want to keep the 599 SKU. Bad move.
Then the over priced Wii will have to come down. It is the only one I have waited on because it is way over priced. I can't justify spending 250 on a gamecube 1.1. I said the same thing about the price of PS3 until I got one for under the price of a 360 premium with a 80 gig HD included. With this drop it will bring the other two units down making it better for those who haven't purchased them yet.
I know its your "OPINION" but the MGS and KZ2 videos were incredible looking to me and most everyone else.
All I know is both the 360 and PSN have a lot of content for us gamers to enjoy. Keep it coming.

I am a huge Metroid Prime fan, but based on the previous sales of the first two, it won't come close to Halo 3 or Metal Gear sales.
Metroid looks awesome, but I doubt it will sell as many copies as you think.
COD4 looks amazing. If they match or exceed the game play from 2, then it will definitely be worth getting. I am a fan of the Call of Duty series, so I am going to have to get it regardless.
Halo was a blast in beta form. It will be great.
Killzone looks to be amazing also.
The only problem is there are too many games and not enough time to play them.
why there was a guy with a controller at the end of the presentation. The main video didn't appear to be controlled live. This other screen showed what he was controlling. Pretty impressive. Now I am stoked about getting Halo 3 and COD4 this year (amongst others) and Killzone next year.
need to drop the price. The 360 will still be cheaper then the PS3 with the rumored $100 price drop.
If they dropped the price, it would definitely move more systems. Even without a price drop, the strong fall line-up will move more machines.
I think that the "b!tch!ng all day and night!" came from those who actually had the problem. I was extremely pissed when I had it happen on two machines within the first six months. Since then, I have been extremely happy. Now I am more relieved that I will be covered for their mistakes.
They realized that there was a problem and this is their way of fixing it with out admitting a design flaw directly. All of us who had the problem know that it was a design flaw...
Now I will be covered for 5 years with the extended warranty.

I know it let you have two split screen. I would have tried it with more, but lack the necessary controllers.
until last week the beta appeared on my store. So I only get a weeks worth, but it is real fun.
It works a lot better then you think. They did a good job balancing the game where the warhawks aren't too powerful.
There is mention that they will have the option of taking out the warhawks as an option.
I picked up the Jabra 150 headset a month ago for 9.99 AR from Circuit City. It works great. Sounds like a good deal.

I went through 2 with in the first six months. The third has worked like a champ. I take very good care of my machines. If it can happen to me, then it can happen to anyone.
My brother in-law's just died right before the year warranty ended. He has been playing it out in the open under his air conditioning vent. It died out of nowhere.

I am still waiting for it to be BC with the 360. I have my copy and can't play it again because of BC issues. Sequel would be nice.
they meant that the Version (with Emotion chip) was not in production anymore. Maybe, just maybe they will continue the 60 without the emotion chip.
