I loved Bioware I even bought Mass Effect after they were bought by EA (the only EA games I own) but I am not touching Anthem. I can only speak for myself but I doubt I'm alone.

"Microsoft need to best themselves on Xbox One vs Xbox 360!"

Even if that's the metric you choose Microsoft has completely and utterly failed at that too. Both in sales and market share 360 was FAR ahead of where we see the One.

In December 2009 360 was at 37 million, that's almost 10 million ahead of the One and 360 had around 50% market share vs PS3 where as One has around 20% market share vs PS4. ...

If you were paying attention to vgchartz last gen you would remember that on several occasions when Microsoft revealed global numbers vgchartz was over what Microsoft listed. It wasn't like here where it's 6 million but still the fact remains that they over-tracked the 360.

It only seems low compared to vgchartz which has over tracked xbox since the 360.

I like the idea of a public sales tracking site but their estimates for xbox have always been over, This means that they are over-tracking by 5-6 million units. I have said several times in the past that one of the reasons xbox doesn't share numbers is because they have been over tracked all generation. If they had been under-tracked all generation they would have been way more motivated...

@Kribwalker

What you said doesn't hold water.

First off i'm pretty sure the servers were still available for certain testers. Second they could have easily opened them up for review copies. And third they could have simply allowed them to make reviews based on the beta.

But at the end of the day it didn't matter the game reviewed poorly regardless of Microsoft's attempt to hide it's unfinished nature.

As soon as they get all digital they can start jacking up the prices as much as they want. I don't know why people so willingly support it. Even now you can see how much cheaper physical games are than digital, it should be obvious that when it's all digital that prices will skyrocket.

"If they're not on the console they can't be purchased. Isn't that obvious?"

What does that have to do with anything they said?

You guys didn't buy D you didn't buy Recore you didn't Buy Final Fantasy you didn't buy Tekken you didn't Monster Hunter World. Why would Japanese companies spend money to port games that aren't going to sell enough to pay for the cost of the port.

If you wanted Jap...

That only illustrate how badly all the other games sold. Monster Hunter World sold 12% of it's copies on Xbox.

Phil has been saying Japanese games are coming every few months for the past 5 years, take a hint.

"Microsoft is a multi billion company and the fact they´re still in gaming bussiness is not because they listen to people like you or me. We got our opinions, they´re out there risking their money. Besides, i don´t care if Microsoft loses money as long we got more games! Like i said, they´re a multi billion company. You should stop worrying about they bussiness endevors."

"And you said you´re all about give credit when credit is due. And yet somehow, you got so upset with the possibility of new exclusive jrpgs titles making their to Xbox One that you felt the need to call them (Microsoft) insane. That´s a new low and that´s why i don´t belive some people when they say they want Xbox to be better and more competitive with a bigger, better and diversed line up of exclusive games."

Ah if only Microsoft was as good at making up new games as they are at making up new categories to declare themselves the best at.

The better question is even if Phil makes high quality diverse games are Xbox owners actually going to buy them? History says no,

The reason Phil stopped investing in first party games to begin with is because no one bought them. Basically every game they invested in took a loss financially.

There is a reason Xbox is known as the "bro" console it's because they actually don't want diverse games. They just want CoD and Madden.

I'm not going to reply to everything you said because I am just repeating what I have already said in my other replies to you.

You don't understand, there was a boom period for internet infrastructure and things have cooled off so there is less investment now than there was in the past. It wasn't because the regulation was costing the ISP's money so they couldn't afford new investment their profits are bigger than ever....

I don't care what you had, many locations have data caps and the number of homes with data caps is increasing not decreasing. They put data caps in the large city I live near 2 years ago. People unfortunate enough to live there have to pay $50 on top of their service plan to get the exact same thing they had 3 years ago.

"I am not against regulating sensibly. The government has a role regulating a large part of our lives. However, Obamas 2015 overreach in regulating has slowed growth quite dramatically. Prior to 2015 internet reached 99% oh households. That has not changed. 100Mbps was available for most users. That has not changed. What has changed is growth and heavy investment in infrastructure. Which have all stalled or been decreased."
