Fall Damage: Earlier today while browsing Walmart.com I came upon a curious entry for a Ico/Shadow of the Colossus pre-order! I haven’t been able to dig up anyone else offering a pre-order on this item. Ico and Shadow of the Colossus originally hit PS2 back in 2001 and 2005, respectively. The game’s designer Fumito Ueda, is currently working on a new PS3 title.
We've worked out which remaster collections are the best of the best.
Should players quell their expectations to avoid being let down?
Like ICO and SOTC before them, there is much you will unlearn during your time with the game, the formula used hasn't changed, it's a game you'll play alone, probably late at night, finish at some point in the morning and have a very fresh view point after finishing, very much like SOTC before it.
That's my gut feeling, stay away from footage, pictures, reviews etc. You won't see another game of this nature for at least another 10 years, enjoy it.
Don't over hype things then, just take them as they come. Nothing will ever live up to your expectations when you raise them so high.
Bloody hell. Just think of it as a 3D platform environmental puzzler or something like that. That's it. Just a type of puzzle game using environments to give you challenges and a big flying dog. Don't be one of those stupid fools thinking anything else. I enjoyed No Man's Sky, because I never hyped it up to be anything it wasn't. Don't be a stupid person. That's the only advice I can give. If you even have to think about this, then you are already headed for disappointment. The seeds have been planted. You're doomed.
Favourite video game boss fights for me are in The Shadow of the Colossus, very few other games have such good boss fight design.
I'd probably go with Terra's Armor from KH2 FM. The very assence of overpowered superboss, even Sephiroth can't put a finger on him... or rather it.
I thought the Storm King fight in Demon's Souls using the Storm Ruler Sword was effing awesome.
Given the footage shown already that looked just like SotC this isnt really a shock. Thank god i say, i really want it.
hmm hopefully Last Guardian also releases around that time. Gonna purchase both (Collection & Last Guardian) games instantly.
so lets say the date given in the article is true which is said 4/01/11. so would it be safe to assume that last guardian be released 6 months later about october or so? gow collection was released about that same time frame. also the sly collection is being released the same time frame from infamous 2. interesting
Whether this story is true or not, it's inevitable that this collection is coming.
