The two most iconic movie monsters of the '80s (although the first Alien film dates from 1979) went in 2004 for the first time on the big screen together in the battle vs. Alien. Predator. They came together earlier at a series of comic books publisher Dark Horse Comics, whose first volume appeared in 1990, the same year the second Predator movie premiered. In the comics took the Aliens and Predators not only against each other. In one example of the later editions that Dark Horse did in collaboration with DC even got the Batman and Superman to stick with the alien killing machines. The Alien vs. Predator film from 2004 in 2007 was still a drop in the form of Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem."

Kingdoms of Amalur was brilliant. Never did get a sequel because all the crap that happened after with the IP.
It looks as though the 2010 first person shooter, Aliens vs Predator might become a Xbox Backwards Compatible title soon based on its revamped Xbox Store product page.
Been playing the shit out of it on PS3. Hopefully this gives the game another lease of life. Such an underrated game imho.
