I want the next one to be story driven and focus on new locations.

Other than the amazing set pieces, let's get some more "WOW!" moments. Maybe infiltrating as a helghan soldier, or more vehicle battles.

Keep MP as it is but add a little more, perks instead of class-equiped tools would be cool. Or just give the ability to be able to have turrets, drones, tactictian spawners, etc all at the same time.

Killzone 3 - Please give some sort if co-op. Yeah its not needed, but friends really make shooters more fun. And please keep the controls. Even though people want sh1tty floaty gun controlling, don't get rid of the best and most realistic controls in FPSs. I loved that you actually felt your heavy armor and guns in KZ2.

Give me something to do after I hit the level cap. Seriously, people got bored with it in mass after doing everything. More to do, and the chance to do it again would be nice.

The game's controls were PERFECT before the patch. That sluggish feeling you're complaining about is what BROUGHT me to play FPS again on consoles since Resistance BLOODY 1.

I prefer Killzone 2 to stick with the original controls and improve upon everything else. Eliminate as much MW2-savvy fanboys simply because they can't run and shoot someone's head as they easily hoped it would be.

This guy is right and everybody else is wrong. If I could only have one thing is Killzone 3 it would be the ability to form a party of my friends and then go looking for games AS A UNIT.

Next it would be the ability to make friends with the people in my squad and faction from within the game menu and without going all the way back to the PS3 players met option, which doesn't remember enough players.

Third I want some way to remove bad spawn points or kick the idiots that lay them down.

Lastly, there needs to be at least one person in each faction who can talk to everyone in that faction even if they are on different squads.

P.S.

Oh yeah, remove the assault class and the rockets from the online play completely.

I want to see Helghast women and children and non-military Helghast. I don't believe they all wear those grey military uniforms day in day out, so they should show it. Maybe they can add in a moral choice kinda of thing where you meet them along the way and you can kill them, subdue/unarm them and talk to them. Maybe find some that are not pro-war, things like that.

Does anyone else remember the part in the game where u jump off the bridge and go through the big sewage tunnel? I liked listening to them talk about Radec punishing a guy for not following uniform, it added a little extra something that I appreciated. it was believability and a reason to not go in guns blazing.

Edit: I also just thought of something else cool. Unlocks through single player. Have branching paths with multiple objectives, and rewards for doing each of them. it would almost force people to replay it but it wouldn't be the same each time. Single player unlocks that carry over into multiplayer would be neat. Maybe dye kits as rewards and stuff like that. Nothing that would break the game, but stuff that would give you a little edge for clearing the single player in lots of ways.

Keep the controls and heavy feel exactly how there are. Let the CoD crowd b*tch all they like, Why would we want every game to play exactly the same? Thats why I like it, its different, not to mention looks 10x better than anything else.

The only other thing is dont forget there are single player gamers too. Make the campain epic. You can add and patch in MP maps till the cows come home for all I care, just make sure you get the SP right.

And put co-op in it, just so the mags and site will have invent something else to complain about.

They just wont fit in with the current gameplay (which is awesome). Also keep it down to 32. 64 is way too much for a Kz type of game. I mean Mw2 does only what, 16? 18? And still the most played gametypes are the smaller ones.

In Kz2 the best size was 4v4 because of the squad-system. In some cases 6v6, but then you had to divide your team in to 2 squads which wasn't nice in clanmatches, as you can only hear your own squadmembers via voicechat.

I really don't care if the don't include an aim assist as long as they fix the control's insane lag... Story Mode

Co-op: Definitely, if not main story, a separate campaign. I think I would prefer an option for main campaign to be up to a full 4 player squad, or at least 2.

Plot: The background info on this mythology is VERY interesting and feels like it is not being utilized in the actual games! Now that being said, even with a simple plot, making the action compelling is a must...

The original CG 2005 trailer felt like SPR all the way through. Technically, KZ2 visuals are near that already, kudos GG!). However, it was the extensive depiction of character interaction that made the concept movie so unbelievable (ducking away from rpg firing/ coordinating attacks with approaching vehicles, etc) giving the impression that everyone was fully aware of the environment. Also the facial animations and 'in-game' dialogue delivery and perspective were off the charts. Some of these things I think are possible.

1) Better voice acting and script would make the experience more compelling (E3 05 voice acting and script were pretty good, why was there such a step down in the real game?).

2) The physical perspective from the camera: its placement makes Sev seem like he's a foot or two shorter than anyone else. Again, in the CG trailer this perspective looked great, what happened?

3) Including more context driven animations (boosting players was cool in KZ2, but adding in something like the weapon sharing animation from the CG trailer, or multiple melee animations seen or used by the player and or the AI would help take the action to another level. We have seen some blended context sensitive stuff in the combat engine for UC2, so I have hope this could be employed to achieve cool results here. (To GG's credit, it did seem enemy AI do some things like these to varying degree, if friendlies had more variety to their animations as well, it would be much better).

4) Although it was great that most of the cinematics transfered seamlessly to gameplay, I wish more cutscenes WERE controllable set-piece moments (ala some playable sections in UC2).

I know a lot of this doesn't really affect general gameplay too much, but it sure as hell helps sell the overall experience. (That is part of the point of single player, no)?

Multiplayer

Party Options:
Real party system, come on many games have this!

Cover system: Its in single player, it works great, implement it! I really don't think it slows things down, just adds a more strategic element, and the level design is already conducive to it!

Maps:
More variety of locales; snow, jungle etc.

Weapons:
Customization options?
Increase variety/ bring back secondary fire.

Vehicles:

1) More flying options besides bot drones, maybe pilotable? I realize this means a few huge Halo style maps, but I like that the Killzone franchise emphasizes vehicle physics that feel realistic and formidable (like BFBC2) rather than arcade-y (like Halo).

2) Exo-Skeletons: OH GOD, please include at least one on some map!!

3) Armored vehicle from 05' trailer: Way cooler and meanacing looking (like a beefy Warthog, instead of the sad looking jeep that ended up in KZ2)

4) AAPC's

5) Small Tank?

2) PLEASE improve the dialogue, apart from Visari's incredible monologues, the dialogue was a generic, jingoistic afterthought at best
3) Playing as a Heg would be amazing-they're far more compelling than the ISA
4) can't agree more about finding a way to kill off Rico
5) get the buddy AI to balance out with the Heg AI

Other than that, I'm really happy with the controls, love how they feel (everything else feels plastic after Killzone 2), love the look of the game, love the gameplay,s ound, visuals, more of Joris's score please....

I totally agree. There was that one part when you were underground and you actually saw some blue creeping in through a crevasse above you. I was impressed and wished they had showed a bit more artistic prowess throughout the game. I suppose the engine could support beautiful levels and really take it to the next level. Let's hope they do in the next one.

A story that isn't hackneyed and cliched. Characters that I actually care about. And finally an enemy that is not one sided and boring. But I won't get any of this so I will settle for great graphics and good gameplay. Here is hoping. Still I can't bring myself to care too much about the franchise because the story is weak and the characters are worse.

Vehicles could be a good addition but I don't want the multiplayer to loose the feel it had from KZ2.

Would like co-op with the cover system. I really like the cover system from the campaign and think it would be great tactically for co-op missions.

the story of the Helgast people are quite interesting when you look at the history. They had a difficult time when their planet was taken over and their survival on a harsh planet almost made them extinct but they raised up and adapted (mask and all.) Yeah, I would love to play a Helgast campaign in 3.
