BOMB Review: Loco Roco 2

BOMB writes: "I really liked the original game, but only found it fun for the (admittedly short) first playthrough. It suffered from a lack of replayability, unless you like searching every nook and cranny for the last missing Mui Mui or Loco Roco.

Beyond that, the physics-based play, controls, and visual style were enough to sell me on Loco Roco… but I dreaded the sequel, thinking it would be more of the same.

It's not often that I say it, but I was wrong.

Loco Roco 2 takes the best parts of the original and expands upon it. The new title adds a storyline, bizarre as it is, tons of mini-games, sticker collections (ala LittleBigPlanet) and does more with the concept of building a house for your Mui Mui friends."

5 franchises that should come to PS Vita

PS3 Attitude: "The recent release of LittleBigPlanet on PlayStation Vita has opened the floodgates for massive franchises to appear on the system, with the heavyweights of Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty to follow very soon. The Vita could always do with more games though, so we’ve been discussing which franchises we’d most like to see on Sony’s fledgling handheld."

SandwichHammock4574d ago

LOL. I sees what yous done therez.
Doom and Vita go hand in hand. ;)

TENTONGUN4574d ago

lol why do you want it to fail? thats cold

GribbleGrunger4574d ago (Edited 4574d ago )

I don't care if that was trolling, it deserves a bubble!

oh, come on you disagreers, it was funny

Godchild10204574d ago (Edited 4574d ago )

I only agreed because I found it funny. I think the Vita is far from being doomed, I have had it since day one and the downloadable titles have made the Vita worth it. Yes, I believe it needs more retail releases, but it's hard to deny the games it has had this month.

I was contemplating the use of /s. Should've gone with my gut I see.

TENTONGUN4574d ago

i see, went right over my head

rpd1234574d ago

Yeah I always think about that too. People might not get it without the /s and think you're a giant asshole. But I understood you were being sarcastic without it.

OhReginald4574d ago

skyrim would be definetly possible. If it happens I hope it gets developed properly knowing bethseda's track record.

erikthegman4574d ago

Fanboy goggles aside, Lost Odyssey would be beautiful on Vita

KMCROC4574d ago (Edited 4574d ago )

Do you really see this happening

a role-playing video game developed by Mistwalker and feelplus and published by Microsoft Game Studios (sound like it would be cool, but something tell me their will be a whole ton cash exchanging hands & demands on the developer to change it some what. if it happened)

stefhutch204574d ago

Yeah, Lost Odyssey on Vita is a nice idea, but I'm 99% sure the IP is owned by Microsoft.
