You don't need a monster machine to run the game as good or better than Xbox One X.

It's not like Xbox One X has a lot of owners on this site either. In terms of overall console market share Xbox One X owners are tiny single figure percentage.

120m+ people have regular PS4 or Xbox One consoles, a few million at most have an Xbox One X. That's it! Microsoft don't provide separate model sales figures. However since Xbox One X launched Microsoft have sold 10m Xbox consoles. Even if we assume half of these are the X model, that's a mere 5m install base.

Half is a very generous estimate.

Most likely ratio base model to X model is closer 3 to 1, which would be well under 5m total Xbox One X machines in the world against a total PS4/Xbox One install base of 130 million......

Definitely more people around with gaming PCs as fast or faster than Xbox One X than actual X1X owners.

My office computer has a 6600k and a 1070, and it's able to outperform the X on every game I've tried on it (it's not even close with regard to framerate). This isn't a very expensive build either.

Tbh, just running it at 1080/60 at high settings is better than the X in most instances. Sure, it’s less pixels for the minority who have a 4k tv, but it runs smoother and have higher graphical settings.

To achieve a solid 1080/60, a 2014 GPU will suffice

These articles are pointless. You're going to buy a game for your favourite platform, despite any media outlet trying to convince you that you need to buy a new system to play it at it's "best".

It's a game. Developers are hardly going to nerf features from it to make it "play better" on one over the other.

I mean it's pretty logical what will always be the outcome, all 4 consoles share very very similar hardware design that just differs in performance, price, and release date. If a game doesn't follow this order something is generally wrong with it.

Kind of. PC - Xbox X for graphics but Xbox X to PC for performance.
Pretty sure an update will fix that though making it in favour of PC. I think my X is great but I just don't see it should outperform a 1080ti for frame rate.

I agree but this was the conclusion of the article. Interestingly they didn't actually show any frame rates so I am skeptical. Not sure how they came to this conclusion.

I've pre-ordered for X, but if I had a capable PC, I'd get it there. That said, the X version looks fantastic. -Tips hat to 4A- another great entry.

If you want to talk about framerates, you need a framerate counter.

Ie. DF style.

People need to see what the performance is.

Also BTW. Although X AND PRO are higher then 1080p. Most people would prefer an option for 60fps. 30fps is not enough.
