would be weird to see this game appear on other platforms.. but I guess financially it would make more sense to have it on as many places as possible..

No, Sony still has some rights to the original 3 games, so the remake won't appear on another platform.

Same thing for FF7 Remake, Sony published the original everywhere, so PS4 console exclusive forever.

The Skylanders Imaginators Crash character and figure are also now separate from the PlayStation product. It was taunted as PlayStation Exclusive during the reveal of the trilogy.
