If I Ever Play Mass Effect On PS3, It Will Have To Be On This Gorgeous Custom Mod

I have a PlayStation 3. It works perfectly well. In well over four years of loyal service, it hasn't failed us yet and it most certainly does not need replacing.

And yet.

I don't even want to play Mass Effect on it. I've got that trilogy on PC, and I like it better that way. I might just... stare at it.

I cannot believe not only are ps3 owners getting mass effect on there system, there getting the definitive console versions of these trilogys! this is good news as it saves me other expenses.

As far as the ps3, wow it looks super stunning, i would display this at my home, really good looking ps3.

Can I borrow your time machine so I can travel to the future to play Mass Effect 1 ON THE PS3? How the hell do you know that Mass Effect 1 wont be better on the 360 trilogy? You do relase that this game is 3 years old and was first released on the 360?

Bioware said Mass Effect 2 on ps3 would be the definitive version.... Did anyone play it? Audio sync and framerate are still issues on the Ps3 version and don't ask me to list the problems at launch. There is still audio sync issue during cutscenes on the 360 version of ME1 by about 0.30 secs with sound effects so I fear for the Ps3 version.

Im fairly sure any improvements to frame rates and texture pop ins will happen across all platforms. The PS3 version i believe is coming out a few months later.
I imagine an oblivion scenario where pc/360 will get a patch somewhere down the line.

Glad everyone gets to play the trilogy though. Hopefully WiiU will get it too. Only wish they redid the combat because it was pretty naff in me1.

I have both ME2 and ME3 on PS3 and X360. And I have spent over 500 hours playing them both. I will not say PS3 version is better of X360 version. There are more graphical glitches on PS3 version even ME3. Having spent so many hours playing both games on both consoles, X360 version feels "smoother" overall and less odd graphics glitches.

It's the PS3 fanboys who never played ME on X360 think PS3 version is that good. Then again, if I never played ME on X360, I'll probably say the same since I have nothing to compare to.

(Not comparing to PC because if you have too much money to burn and buy a PC hardware that costs several times more than PS3 or X360, of course you get better graphics. The real question is it several times better since the PC hardware costs several times than console? Of course not. And don't say PC can be used for other functions. Not to me. A machine that is gaming is dedicated a machine because I don't want a hot and noisy PC when browsing web.)

It might cost a higher initial cost to build a PC but the money you save buying PC games more than makes up for it. Not to mention a PC can do a lot more than just play games.

A lot of people who liked the first one said the second went the action route. Its pretty common. As far as not being able to finish,you have too have ashort attention span or not be accustomed to RPGs.

I don't know why Sony never put out these kind of systems. It's always Microsoft with the custom designs while Sony just has regular bundles.

Japan had some, but here in the US we never saw anything that cool (Besides the MGS gunmetal grey that was ok.) We never got the red or white especially like we wanted.

Wether or not this game is coming late to PS3... it don't negate the fact that it NEVER WAS SUPPOSED TO!

it's 1 less exclusive franchise the 360 has over PS3 and although it's showing up late, it's doing it and all the while looking to be the best version to own!
