It’s always extremely exciting when you discover an unexpected change in the game you play. No matter how small the change is, it might have a big impact on the game. The Wuthering Waves community recently noticed that one character received a buff, even though it wasn’t widely spoken about.
Wuthering Waves Players Discover Spectro Rover Received a Buff
One player, servantphoenix, asked the community: “Spectro Rover got massively buffed in 1.1? Thanks to the Bell collection, you can get Spectro rover to C6, which unlocks a +40% Liberation damage and a 10% Spectro shred. The new Jue echo is also excellent on her since it takes up 0 time and it buffs her skill damage”.
This player added: “If you discarded Spectro Rover in 1.0 because Havoc Rover was better, give her a second chance. You might be positively surprised. She even provides a small but team-wide healing. So you can potentially use her as your third “healer” in the Tower while dealing good damage from that slot”.
Most players joked that it was hard enough to come by any resources, let alone discard them. Some even critiqued Kuro Games for the scarcity of resources. Force88 explained: “I feel like the game’s resources are even less than in Genshin… From day 1 till now, I can only build H.Rover and Jinshi with workable cr/cd 70/190. Yinlin is only barely working at 70/140”.
Ok-Pumpkin-6642 confirmed that Spectro Rover was buffed. They shared their experience: “I’ve used Rover to all-star the First Tower. She can work pretty well thanks to the Spectro damage bonus of this time and she performed better than Havoc did”.
Some Players Insist on Sticking to Their Favorite Character
Well, as you might have expected, even though they don’t deny that Spectro Rover received a buff, lots of Wuthering Waves players had a different character they preferred. Choowkee said: “Buffed? Yes. Massively? No. Aix is still the better echo for Rover”.
Another player, geniue, noted: “Spectro Rover is probably good, but will likely be overshadowed once everyone gets C6 Havoc Rover. Also as others have mentioned there aren’t enough resources to build everyone just yet. Still good to see that F2P characters are still viable in the endgame”.
Honestly, this buff was surprising for us, and we can’t wait to try out Spectro Rover. We know that some players might have some reservations, whether you already have a favorite character, or you’re simply unsure, but how can you know without trying?
