Ever since its release at the end of May, Wuthering Waves has managed to grow quite a player base. This community is very active and often offers solutions to players’ problems. Now, the Wuthering Waves players came together to offer ideas for possible new characters.
Wuthering Waves Players Offer Plenty of New Ideas
By now, you probably already have your favorite character in Wuthering Waves, but have you ever thought that a character with a particular set of traits might do great in this game? Well, maybe you’ll love some of the following ideas. If the player base is lucky, the developers might catch on and decide to treat the community with what it wants.
One player, didraw, shared: “I would like an Arsene Lupin style (or Joker from Persona 5). Also, I like characters who have an “HP” related kit, like Danjin but not only characters who lose their life. For example, one of my favorite characters is Swain from League of Legends or Tham Kench, ik they are impossible in WuWa”.
AramushaIsLove suggested a character that would enable DPS in a different way. They suggested: ” Poison, stacking bleed, a character that works as Echo, anything creative really. Currently, WW does not have anything like elemental mastery or anomaly or so on. This means every DPS will have to do their DPS in a straightforward manner like Jinhsi, Changli, and all other DPS”.
Several other players said that having some morally questionable characters would be cool, generally speaking, we think that might be a great idea. Much-Meringue-8955 noted: “I need more morally grey types of character with broad blade/sword as their weapon. Bonus point if they have purple hair”.
Characters’ Aesthetics Is Crucial for Some Players
Well, speaking of aesthetics, Wuthering Waves players had lots of ideas on how to make the new characters unique. Hoang-Linh-no-luvvv stated: “Just want a character who uses a 19th-century handgun and a sword, looks similar to Hunters in Bloodborne. If they also dress like they are from the Victorian era, then I’m completely sold”.
Other players had different ideas. Anchiros-The-Maw said: “Honestly, I want a mutant character that has a playstyle exactly like Danjin. We know the true dangers of overclocking and seemingly only Calcharo is able to counter its effects and stay just above the edge. But what if someone went over the edge? What if this individual keeps taking consistent dives into the abyss of everything he uses ult”?
Honestly, there are plenty of cool ideas, but the number of players who are completely satisfied with the existing characters is huge. Lots of players raved about playing as Verina, and, of course, every game is a bit better with some codes. Do you have a favorite character?
